John Hanlon
John Hanlon is the pen name of actor and AWGIE winning screenwriter Shane Porteous, best known for his long-running role as Dr Terence Elliott in A Country Practice.
As an actor, he has appeared in Home and Away twice, firstly as the homeless Jim Tyler in 2001, and later as Penn Graham’s grandfather Douglas in 2011.
