Kelli’s manipulation leads to a surprise engagement. Belle finally admits her true feelings for Drew – but is it too late? Cassie is shaken when Macca’s controlling streak rears itself again.

Peter and Amanda’s confrontation continues and Amanda is stunned by Peter’s accusations that she’s being unfaithful. Realising he still doesn’t trust her and on the verge of break-up, Amanda storms out of the house in a huff.
Meanwhile, Kelli manipulates the situation further by playing on Peter’s insecurities. He begins to doubt he and Amanda can live together and packs his bags and moves out. Amanda returns and is shocked by the discovery Peter is gone. Both Peter and Amanda are saddened their relationship is disintegrating because their pride keeps getting in the way. But after only one night apart, Amanda and Peter both realise they are meant to be together and it’s time to stop being so stubborn. Peter ironically calls on Kelli’s help to get Amanda back on side. Clearly, they have fallen for Kelli’s plan and she insists there’s only one way Peter can prove he is completely trusting of Amanda.
Peter knocks on the door to find a teary Amanda sitting on the lounge – clearly she is as lost without him. Peter makes a heartfelt plea and admits he has made a mistake letting her go. Amanda is absolutely stunned as Peter presents her with a ring and declares he wants to spend the rest of his life with her. Amanda joyfully accepts his proposal and once again, the couple are as happy as ever. Kellie is the first to be told and soon after she picks up the phone and calls Ethan. She couldn’t be more satisfied as she tells Ethan her plan to ruin Amanda is working perfectly!
Meanwhile, Cassie expresses her desire to go back to Summer Bay to support her family but clearly Macca is not so keen on the idea. Macca insists they can’t afford the bus trips to and from the city but Cassie is adamant Sally would give her the money. Macca is against that too and more and more, his controlling streak shows. Lonely and bored being away from her family, she suggests they could invite Matilda and the gang over but Macca cuts her off and advises they best wait until their house is in order. Macca moves off, leaving Cassie feeling very uneasy about his possessive nature which is once again taking hold.
Belle is strolling up the beach when she spots Drew in the distance. Before she has the chance to move off unseen, Drew approaches and instantly starts pressuring her to be honest about her feelings for him. Belle insists she wants to be with Lucas and that’s her final decision. She storms off, leaving Drew to wonder what else he can do to convince Belle she’s with the wrong guy! Belle later pours her heart out to Irene, who tells her to follow her heart. Meanwhile, Drew is getting flirty with another girl, Lisa, in the surf Club. He’s taking Belle’s advice to move on. Leah and Dan watch on amused – Drew sure doesn’t waste any time! But with Irene’s advice in mind, Belle goes to find Drew to finally admit she still loves him. But she stops dead in her tracks when she finally finds Drew at the Surf Club, locked in a passionate embrace with Lisa. Clearly, Drew has taken her advice and moved on but poor Belle races out, absolutely devastated.
