Dan is devastated when he discovers Leah’s lies. Kim springs his friends breaking the law – will he dob them in? Matilda’s isolating herself from everyone.
Extended Summary
Leah manages to fight off Jesse. Leah’s shaking with anger and fear. Jesse leaves the house altogether, realizing he’s gone too far. Colleen sees him come out of Leah’s room and jumps to the wrong conclusion. In the morning, Colleen asks about Jesse and Leah covers. Colleen is unimpressed.
Meanwhile Jesse’s spent the night on the beach. He feels awful about Leah. He seeks her out at the Diner and tries to apologise but Leah sends him packing. Dan arrives back and Leah lies to him about the uneventful night she had. Dan picks up Colleen’s tension around Leah and calls her on it. Leah dismisses it. When Dan’s gone, Colleen tells Leah she saw Jesse leaving her bedroom… Leah is furious Colleen would think she’d do that to Dan, the man she loves. Colleen’s put in her place.
Kim’s working himself into the ground for the baby. Hayley’s worried, she doesn’t want him to feel pressured about money and work. At the resort office, the folder labeled ‘Paternity Results: Hayley Lawson’, sits in a box that was retrieved from the construction site…a ticking time bomb. But Kim keeps missing it.
Henry wants to know where Matilda was last night but she won’t tell him. He tells her the truth about Diesel – that’s why he didn’t want to go out with her – She can stop acting up. Matilda says it was about time she grew up. Henry finds a message from Matilda’s party boy friend that shows she was drinking and making out. Matti’s angry he looked at her phone. She walks out. But the next time we see her she’s crying – a young girl, lost and hurting.
Martha, Robbie and Tasha’s plan to stop the development involves putting sugar in the engines of the bulldozers. They’re sprung by Kim. He threatens to call the police, but they plead with him not to. When he doesn’t, Martha wonders why. Kim would love to wipe the smug smile off her face, but he doesn’t want to get her in trouble. Is there a hint of sexual tension between these two…? Hayley thinks so, but Kim says no way. Tasha thanks him and he asks her for a favour – come back and live in the Beach House. Tasha says maybe she will.
Colleen goes to the beach and lets Jesse know he’s affected Dan and Leah. Jesse thinks Dan knows about the previous night. He goes to Leah’s house to apologise and opens up to Dan. Dan is left reeling and Jesse realizes he didn’t actually know anything! Dan can’t believe that Leah lied to him. The truth is out!
