Extended Summary

Tane and Felicity walk on the beach with her commenting that they’re going to get married there in a week. Tane tells her he’s informed everyone of a change of venue: They’re getting married at the farm instead. Nikau interrupts their subsequent kiss to cheer about the upcoming bucks night tonight. Felicity asks if he’s got a stripper and Tane says no strippers.

At the garage, Justin tells Cash that the parts they needed are in but can’t give him any guarantees that the ute will be ready on time. Cash says he’ll give him a hand and insists they can do it. Justin shuts the ute door and the wing mirror falls off. He claims he was going to throw it away anyway.

Dean asks Ziggy how long she’s been collecting stuff and Ziggy admits it’s been since she got the pregnancy care package. Dean still thinks she should have told him about the nursery. Ziggy says she tries to consider him and Jai. Dean says he’ll talk to Jai but Ziggy says the four of them should be a family. She offers him a lift but he declines.

At Salt, Felicity, Eden and Mackenzie are preparing for the hen night. Eden has arranged a karaoke bus and says Remi has stuff on. Felicity says it’s a rule that everyone has to sing, with Mackenzie checking there’s going to be alcohol there (that’s also a rule). Mackenzie leaves to get changed. Felicity checks on Eden about Cash. Eden says they’ve just been doing their own to-do lists.

Mackenzie sees Dean being dropped off by a car outside. Dean admits he doesn’t actually know who the driver was, he hitchhiked, but refuses to discuss any further. At the garage, Justin apologises to Ziggy for getting involved over the nursery but Ziggy knows he was just trying to be helpful. Justin recalls that Leah took time to work out her place with Ava and thinks Ziggy and Dean will work out how to handle Jai. Cash manages to start the ute engine.

Cash fills Tane and Nikau in on the development at the surf club although they still need to get the ute roadworthy. Nikau gets a phone call and claims it’s the exotic dancers. Felicity and Eden come downstairs and Felicity says the girls are meeting at hers later. She notices Cash’s dirty hands. Cash says he was helping Justin. Eden says he’s good with his hands, then leaves, embarrassed. At the garage, Justin encourages Ziggy to talk to Dean. Ziggy says she can talk to him about anything other than Jai. Justin says they need to find a way to do that.

Felicity tries to convince Cash to come to the hen night instead of the bucks night, arguing that he’s part of her “bride tribe”. Cash refuses despite Felicity’s attempts to guilt trip him and saying that she needs him if he she gets arrested or kidnapped. Cash says she’s Eden’s responsibility tonight, while Tane refuses to get involved. Felicity tries asking Tane about the bucks night but he says Nikau’s organised everything.

At the farm house, Dean complains to Mackenzie about the lack of leftovers before talking about his problems with Ziggy and how she feels she doesn’t have a say in what happens with Jai. Dean wonders how to keep everyone happy. Mackenzie says you can’t do that all the time but thinks he’ll be able to cope with being a father to two.

Felicity has sat herself in the surf club buggy and asks how to start it but Nikau takes the keys, saying John would kill him. Felicity tries to make small talk before asking where the bucks party are going. Nikau refuses to say. Felicity says she wants to know where to send the stripper. Nikau says Tane doesn’t want one but Felicity says guys say that and don’t mean it.

In her bedroom, Eden is looking through outfits while trying to organise the karaoke bus on the phone. Felicity comes in and says they’re not doing the bus: There’s a place she’s heard of and she’s organised drinks and an area for them. Eden protests, saying everyone is looking forward to this (and struggling to remember the term “bridesmaid”), but Felicity says she’ll handle the cancellation fees and backlash, before telling Eden what outfit to wear. Meanwhile, Dean looks through Ziggy’s scrap book. Ziggy arrives home. Dean is sorry that Ziggy feels on the outside with Jai and says he doesn’t want her to feel like she’s second place. He asks her to be open with him and she promises. Dean satys to tell him about the nursery.

At the Parata house, Nikau presents Cash and Tane with pins with Felicity’s face on and sashes for them to wear. They protest, but when Nikau looks hurt, they put them on. Nikau promptly takes a photo and says he’s putting that on the wall at the gym and sending Rose a copy to put on the station wall. Felicity comes through, looking for her shoe. Eden turns up and Felicity tries to get Cash to compliment her appearance. Eden says her plans got derailed but Felicity cuts the conversation short. The men leave and Felicity continues her search.

Tane, Cash and Nikau are relaxing in a club. Nikau produces Felicity’s shoe and tells Tane to drink out of it. Tane tries to refuse but everyone joins in Nikau’s chant and he goes along with it. Felicity arrives with Eden, Mackenzie and some other friends. Eden think it’s just an ordinary nightclub. Felicity sees the bucks and acts surprised, then actually is surprised by Tane having her shoe (which he hastily hands to Nikau). Eden realises Felicity did this to get her and Cash together and isn’t happy.

Nikau accosts Felicity, having realised there’s no strippers. Felicity says if he lets it pass, she’ll forget about the shoe. Tane realises what Felicity is up to and warns her it might not go the way she wants. Cash approaches Eden and accuses her of arranging this. Eden reminds him her plans were derailed and he realises it’s Felicity’s work. He asks what they’re going to do now. Eden says she’s going to get drunk.
