Episode 7632

Extended Summary

Justin and Leah are down on the beach. Justin wants to spend time together but Leah convinces him to go for a surf so she has time to read at least some of her book. John comes along and comments on them not being at work. He says he wants to run his ideas for the garage past them and suggests Leah text him once Justin’s finished his surf. Leah looks less than pleased at the prospect. Meanwhile, Cash predicts that he won’t see Tane there when he comes back and says his partner’s waiting for him. Tane complains to Felicity that she didn’t tell him her brother’s a cop. Felicity says it’s his fault for trying to sneak off and sends him on his way.

Tane arrives home to be greeted by Ari and Mia. Ari tries to ask where he ended up last night but Tane refuses to discuss it and goes for a shower. Ari tells Mia he’s worried about him but she thinks it’s none of their business. At the Diner, Jasmine is talking to Marilyn about Felicity being Cash’s sister so he’s not a player. Marilyn tries to draw her attention to the fact Cash has just come in. After assuring him she think he’s decent, Jasmine suggests she and Cash have lunch. Marilyn notices Chloe yawning and tells her she’ll get used to the early starts.

Ari and Tane are walking near the beach. A police car comes past and Tane and Cash lock eyes. Ari wonders what that was about. Meanwhile, Ryder comes into the Diner and joins Chloe, who is about to finish her break. He shows her the work he’s done on the website. Chloe is impressed but stops him showing it to Marilyn, saying she has to get back to work.

Felicity turns up at the police station for the first time, commenting they must have a lot of bad boys in Summer Bay to have a station this big. Cash says they built an extension for her. Felicity admits she’s worried about the eviction and wants to know what he’s going to do about it, threatening to chain herself to the desk until he does something. Cash shows her into the interview room, telling her to keep out of trouble. Meanwhile, Tane has filled Ari in. Ari is frustrated that Tane’s made an enemy of the new police officer, while Tane reminds him he dated the ex of the last one. Ari wonders if there was any conversation between him and Felicity, saying it’s not the right way to get over Ziggy. Tane thinks it would have been if he’d chosen someone else. Mia comes along and Tane uses carrying her bag as an excuse to end the conversation.

Cash rejoins Felicity and wipes off the pig she has drawn on the white board. He has a long list of notices from the real estate agent, including the fact that she didn’t pay the rent even though he gave her the money. Felicity says she thought it was to pay bills. Jasmine turns up for lunch and she and Felicity exchange introductions. Cash tries to put an end to it but Felicity insists they all have lunch together. Near the beach, John catches up with Leah and Justin, asking if they’re free now. Justin hadn’t heard his message and reluctantly accepts the folder of John’s ideas. Nearby, Ryder tells Chloe the website is up and asks why she didn’t want Marilyn to know. Chloe admits she didn’t get permission, saying asking means people can say no. Ryder is worried this will backfire but Chloe says it’s only temporary until they can afford their own place.

Felicity is telling Jasmine a story about how Cash was in love with his second grade teacher, Miss Ryan, and was devastated to see her out with her boyfriend during his birthday dinner. Cash quickly shuts down the conversation and ushers Felicity out. Jasmine thinks she’s cool and a moment later Felicity comes back in asking for a lift. When she and Cash arrive back at the house, they find all their things outside. Felicity searches through them and is relieved to find a photo album. Cash says they’ve changed the locks.

Not long after, Felicity arrives at the caravan park with a packed ute. Cash greets her and says it’s home for now. Felicity chooses a caravan and Cash asks her not to get them kicked out while he’s gone. Felicity looks inside the caravan and is delighted, saying it reminds her of the place where they stayed in Dubbo. She initially thinks it was a holiday but Cash reminds her their mother was being treated at the hospital nearby. Cash leaves and Felicity looks through the photo album, crying over a picture of the family when they were young. Meanwhile, Cash meets up with Jasmine at Salt and tells her about the eviction. Jasmine says she liked Felicity. Cash says she’s good in small doses and suggests they have dinner.

At the Diner, John leaves the ideas with Leah and Justin to talk over. Leah tells Justin John had a point about marketing but Justin is worried about giving him an inch. They leave, passing Ryder and Chloe. Chloe gets an order text but hides it from Marilyn. She tells Ryder they can’t back out now. Meanwhile, Tane arrives home. Ari wants to help but Tane says there’s nothing he can do and to look at his own life. Later, Ari talks it over with Mia. They note they worry about their family and should maybe focus on their own lives. Ari admits he has no idea what he wants now they’re not having a baby.

Leah and Justin walk by the beach. Justin admits some of John’s ideas are good but is worried about encouraging him. He gets a call from an unknown number and initially reacts with worry, but then delightedly tells Leah they’re getting back the money Susie stole. They meet up with John at the Morgan house and tell him the news. John is pleased for them, but looks disappointed when they explain they’re going to use the money to buy the garage themselves.

Mia and Ari arrive at Salt, commenting on the fact they always had Chloe to focus on before but soon it’ll just be the two of them. Before they can discuss it much further, Ari gets a phone call from the hospital and says he’s on his way.
