Hayley’s deadly worried about her paternity test results. She, Kim and Scott head to the hospital together where Zoe sees them and apologises to Hayley for the way she treated Kim and for announcing the baby publicly. Hayley forgives her. They finally get in to see the doctor and are told that the baby is actually Kim’s. They’re all stunned. Hayley’s upset. She feels so stupid. Scott tries to calm her, but it’s obvious he’s been hit hard by the news as well. Kim doesn’t know how to feel. He feels better when Hyde says he’ll make a great father and he’ll be there to support him every step of the way. But there’s still awkwardness between the three of them. It’s a difficult situation to deal with.
Peter and Clare are going over every detail in the case when Peter hits upon something that might give them a lead. It means the Stalker can’t be as tall as Zoe said he was. Perhaps her whole description was wrong? Peter wants to hypnotise Zoe to check her facts again. Clare overrules him, but Peter seeks out Zoe and asks her anyway. She’s a little nervous, but agrees to it. She then reveals this to Dan and Colleen overhears her and goes hysterical. The Stalker is still at large in Summer Bay!
Jesse and Martha are fooling around when they’re nearly caught by Alf. Alf can’t work them out. But Morag can. She springs them red-handed and says they have to tell Alf. He’d be devastated if he found out like her. Alf bemoans the situation to Morag at the Diner and is surprised to find out she already knows. Martha comes in to explain that it was her that made the first move. Alf doesn’t want to know the sordid details, he’s just doesn’t want her making a big mistake. Morag’s finds out that the person who rented her office space out from under was Macklin Corporation – Martha’s biological dad Brett! They’re all stunned. What is Brett planning?
Dan tries to calm down Colleen but it’s too late. Leah finds out and demands to know if it’s true the Stalker’s still out there. Dan admits it’s true. Leah’s not happy Colleen goes to Peter and confronts him about it. She reveals that Zoe told her. Clare’s immediately suspicious – what’s Peter done? She takes him back to the station and rips into him for disobeying her again. She’s getting sick of his attitude. He tries to defend himself but she warns him he’s walking a thin line. If anything happens as a result of this it’s on his head.
Zoe finds out about the paternity test results and is on the phone to a shocked Kim, trying to comfort him.
