Extended Summary

At Salt, John congratulates Robbo and Jasmine and is told to get a drink. Catching Colby looking around the room, Willow tells him Mackenzie isn’t there. Colby claims he was thinking it’s a shame Bella isn’t there. He thinks he should go and check on her but Willow convinces him to leave her. Back at the beach house, Tommy asks Bella why she’s being like this, then calms and sits down, apologising and saying he thought it would be nice to spend time together. Bella asks what she can do to help. Tommy says he doesn’t feel like being around other people and asks her to show him her photos.

Justin continues to complain about Tori delaying things and asks Leah to talk to her, while Tori asks her to talk to Justin. Leah mostly takes Justin’s side, albeit in a more understanding way, saying they know Tori’s nervous but suggesting the longer she leaves it the worse it will be. Tori agrees and goes to have a shower. Justin complains that she’ll be ages and will want a manicure next.

Robbo comments to Lance on Scott leaving. Jasmine drags him up the front for speeches, with Colby calling everyone’s attention. Robbo awkwardly thanks everyone for coming and tells them to eat, drink and have fun, admitting he doesn’t know what else to say. Jasmine takes over, saying it’s taken them a lot to get there but Robbo completes her. Alf proposes a toast to them. Lance goes onto the balcony to take a call from Scott. Robbo notices and follows him, wondering if his parents are all right. Lance assures him they are, but there’s obviously something going on.

Tommy gushes over Bella’s photos but Bella is looking uncomfortable again. His hackles raise when he sees a photo of Ryder, despite Bella explaining he’s just a friend. Bella says she needs to go to the bathroom. She tries to take her phone but Tommy takes it from her, saying he wants to look at the photos she took on the pier. Bella locks herself in.

Armed police officers arrive outside the surf club. Robbo starts to tell Jasmine they have to go. Back at the Morgan house, Tori has changed but Justin is frustrated as Leah helps her pick out shoes. Tori tells him he can go but Justin thinks if he does she’ll be back in bed and he’ll have to explain to Robbo. Suddenly, Scott turns up with other police officers, introducing himself as Senior Constable Scott Larkin and saying Tori has to come with them into protective custody for her and the baby’s safety.

The other police officers arrive at Salt and Lance ushers Robbo and a confused Jasmine away with them, ignoring questions from the likes of Irene, John and Willow. At the Morgan house, a protesting Tori is ushered out by Scott, with Justin being restrained from intervening.

Bella is sitting against the bathroom door, whispering for Tommy to go away. Tommy calls through the door to her, then angrily says he’s done. Hearing a door open and close, Bella cautiously emerges and Tommy grabs her from behind. Bella bites his arm to get free and Tommy backs her into the downstairs bedroom.

Robbo, Jasmine and Lance are travelling in police convoy and Lance gets an update that Scott’s on his way. Robbo asks Jasmine for her phone to make sure no-one’s tracking them but she says she doesn’t have it. Lance says he’ll explain when they get there. At Salt, Alf, John, Marilyn and Irene debate what’s going on, with John thinking Robbo’s involved with something. Justin and Leah arrive and explain Tori’s gone as well. Colby is on the phone trying to get information but tells Irene and Willow there’s nothing logged with the local police. Irene decides to go and tell Bella what’s happened.

Tommy is ranting at Bella about how he’s sick of girls making promises they don’t keep. Bella tries to convince him they can still be friends, but backs away when he takes a step towards her. She tries to grab for a vase by the bed but Tommy pins her to the bed and forcibly kisses her. Irene arrives home and hears Bella sobbing, going to the room and hitting Tommy over the head with the vase, before pulling Bella away. Tommy follows them into the living area, bleeding and slightly dazed, and says he’ll go and there’s no need to call the police, saying it can be their little secret. The comment gives Irene flashbacks. She grabs a champagne bottle and strikes Tommy with it repeatedly until Bella pulls her off.

Shortly after, Irene is sat at the table, numb, as Bella checks Tommy and says he’s still breathing. Irene says to call an ambulance. Bella says if they do that, the police will come and arrest Irene. She asks why she did it, saying she should have just let Tommy go, then decides they need to dump Tommy outside the hospital. Irene asks what will happen when he comes round and tells people what happened. Bella says he won’t want to explain why he was at the house. She takes his wallet and keys, saying there can’t be anything to identify him. Irene is shocked Bella knows to do all this. She wipes the champagne bottle.

Lance gets a report that Scott and Tori are at the safe house. Jasmine is shocked to hear that Tori’s involved as well. Lance also reveals the feds kept Robbo’s parents away. Jasmine asks Robbo to tell her what’s going on and not to look to Lance for permission. Robbo tells her the people that killed Lauren and his children are back. Meanwhile, Irene and Bella pull up outside Northern Districts Hospital and take Tommy from the boot, leaning him against a wall in a quiet spot. Irene wants to put his things in a dumpster but Bella says they’ll be found there and to do it on the way back.

At the Diner, Justin comments to Leah that he has to tell Brody, Raffy and Mason what’s going on. John and Marilyn convince him to let them tell Raffy. Willow chats to Colby, who wonders why he hasn’t heard from Bella. Outside, Irene and Bella have arrived. Bella wants to throw Tommy’s wallet and keys off the pier. Irene decides to instead put them in a dumpster which will be emptied in the morning; Bella hides them under the bags. She berates herself for meeting someone she met on the internet but Irene tells her it doesn’t excuse what Tommy did and there are no little secrets. Bella wonders what will happen if Tommy wakes up and tells people everything. Irene wonders what will happen if he doesn’t wake up.

Irene and Bella head inside where Alf, Leah and Justin are all waiting for news, as are Colby and Willow. Colby comforts Bella and tells her “they” will be all right. Bella wonders who he means. Meanwhile, the convoy transporting Lance, Robbo and Jasmine pull up outside a house where another police vehicle is already parked.

The three of them go inside, where Tori and Scott are waiting. Robbo confirms he knows Scott as he, Tori and Jasmine exchange warm greetings and Tori compliments Jasmine on her dress. Jasmine tells Lance to start talking.
