Extended Summary

Mackenzie arrives outside the surf club and asks Alf, Ben and Maggie about what her staff are saying about a police raid on Salt. They explain that it wasn’t a raid but the federal police taking Robbo, Jasmine and Tori into protective custody. Mackenzie goes to check on the staff, leaving the others to ponder Robbo and Jasmine’s start to married life.

At the safe house, Lance explains that they never found out who killed Robbo’s family and thought the organisation had disbanded after the police corruption trial and the death of Dylan Carter. However, there have recently been reports that they’re starting up again and Robbo’s name has been mentioned. Lance speculates someone got their hand on a wedding invite. There’s been no mention of Tori or Jasmine but they’ve been brought along as a precaution. Scott reports the guards are in place. Lance says he’ll go back to town for everyone’s things and tells them to make a list.

Ben and Maggie join Justin and Leah at the Diner. Colby hasn’t been able to get any news. Justin gets a text from Mason and realises he needs to go and talk to him. Roo turns up and asks Irene about Jasmine, prompting her to run out. Colby follows Irene down the pier. Irene says Jasmine and Robbo deserve more. Colby offers to give her a break from Bella but Irene says she likes her company before asking for a moment alone.

At the gym, Leah and Justin fill in Mason, who is worried this is the same as when they were in witness protection and also about Tori’s pregnancy complications. Leah tries to argue Robbo and Jasmine will look after her. Justin convinces Mason to come with him to find out information. Meanwhile, Lance turns up at the Diner flat and tells Colby there’s a possible threat against Robbo, enough for them to take precautions. He’s there to get some stuff for Robbo.

Lance’s next call is to see Justin, Mason and Leah. Mason asks Lance if he knows what Tori’s been through. Justin tells him about her time in witness protection. Lance says no direct threat has been made but they’re safe. Justin refuses to believe him without talking to Tori, whose phone has been disconnected.

At Salt, Mackenzie reflects on the abandoned wedding cake and a newly-arrived Colby comments on the abandoned wedding. She is reluctant to give the food to her staff, since she’ll look like a nice boss. He asks her to box some of it up and also tries to find out more about her recent absence. Mackenzie invites him to stay for a drink once he’s sorted out the food.

Scott hands Tori a phone; Lance has got Justin and Mason to ring her from the house. Tori confirms that she’s all right and says to give her love to Raffy and Brody. Justin notes Lance wants them to wind up the call and Mason says they love her and will see her soon. Jasmine goes over to comfort Tori. At the Diner, Maggie reflect on planning her holiday while Robbo and Jasmine can’t manage a honeymoon. Ben is focused on the board order getting out. Irene is on the phone to Bella, who says the federal police are with her and Willow at the house. Irene says they can take anything of Jasmine’s they need and she hasn’t phoned the hospital. She breaks off when she sees Roo nearby and gives her an update on Jasmine. Roo convinces her to go home, especially when she forgets she’s already given Ben and Maggie their meals.

Colby and Mackenzie drink a toast to Jasmine and Robbo. Mackenzie explains she was visiting her mum. Colby can’t tell her any more about the police turning up than she knows. They help themselves to some of the wedding cake. Colby claims she has icing on her face as an excuse to kiss her, prompting them to decide to go for a “full check-up” in private.

At the safe house, Lance tells Tori he got filled in on her time in witness protection. She goes to her room as Robbo and Jasmine appear, having finally got changed out of their wedding outfits. Lance leaves them with the package Colby gave him, which includes some of the wedding cake. Robbo reflects on promising to love and protect Jasmine, who assures him she’s happy they’re married.

Next morning, Scott is supervising the guards outside as Robbo joins Lance on the veranda. Robbo asks if Lance knew about this before the wedding and Lance says the first he heard was when he get the call at the church. Robbo says he can’t live like this again and asks Lance to catch the people behind it. Lance promises him this isn’t his fault. At the Diner flat, Colby is drinking coffee when a dishevelled and somewhat awkward Mackenzie emerges from his room. She assures him last night was great but has to go and sort out Salt and is running late. Colby kisses her goodbye.

Justin, Leah and Mason walk on the beach. Mason is concerned that they might not see Tori for years and isn’t reassured by the others. After he’s gone, Justin reflects to Leah on the years he lost with Ava and how he doesn’t want that to happen with Tori. Not too far away, Irene puts some bags in the dumpster by the Diner and finds the wallet and keys are still there. Inside, Ben chats to Maggie about checking on the board order. Nearby, Irene is having a heated phone call, saying the dumpster is overflowing and demanding it be emptied.

At Salt, Mackenzie smiles at a newspaper headline “Booth’s Secret Baby Shame”, with photos of Rick and Dean. She gets a text from Colby hoping she has a good day and texts back saying she’s pretty sure she will.
