Episode 7156

Extended Summary

Justin and Alf are working on an engine outside the bait shop while Leah waits impatiently. Irene and Willow appear with drinks and Alf hopes one’s a black tea for him but they’re for Jasmine. They discuss how likely it is that Robbo’s nervous and realise that both he and Jasmine went for a run. Leah goes to get ready, telling Justin to pick her up.

Back at the beach house, Bella makes a rather impatient attempt to calm Jasmine, saying earthquakes and tsunamis are disasters, not meeting your groom on the morning of the wedding. Irene and Willow return with the coffees and Bella takes one off Jasmine, saying she doesn’t need any more stimulants. Irene calls the superstition piffle. Jasmine goes to her room to get ready, with Willow following. Bella says she still doesn’t feel well but Irene insists she’s coming. Bella goes to type something on her laptop.

Colby arrives back at the Diner flat where Lance has turned up with breakfast for himself and Robbo. Robbo says everything’s in order: He just needs to eat and get dressed. Meanwhile, Willow watches Jasmine get ready. Jasmine admits she’s nervous, excited and slightly terrified. She asks Willow to ride in the car with her to the church. Willow readily agrees, promising to stay with her until she’s with Robbo.

Justin queries why Tori isn’t ready and she says she’s not going to the wedding: She likes the dress Leah got her but she feels she’s better off just going to the reception. She argues that she could ruin things if something went wrong with the baby during the service. Justin accepts he’s not going to win this argument. Tori tells him to take lots of photos.

Bella is messaging Tommy who asks if she’s coming. Bella says she wants to and Tommy encourages her. Irene interrupts the conversation. Bella says the wedding brings up memories of Colby’s wedding and her dad and she’s not ready to deal with that. Irene suggests Colby might need her support but eventually gives in, agreeing Bella can stay home as long as she calls Colby and explains.

Outside the church, Robbo, Colby and Lance meet with Scott, an old colleague of Robbo’s, who gets a phone call. Lance gets one too and Scott tells him he needs to take it. Irene and Marilyn also greet Robbo, as do Leah and Justin, who explain about Tori. Lance finishes the call, saying to keep him posted. Robbo wonders where his parents are and Lance offers to call them.

Shortly after, Robbo is talking to the priest inside while Alf, Marilyn, Leah, Justin and Colby are among those taking their seats. Lance comes in and tells Robbo that his parents had car trouble and have said to go ahead without them, and they’ll make it to the reception. Robbo agrees that the important thing is Jasmine being there.

Jasmine and Willow are driven up outside the church; Irene is waiting for them and Scott is also loitering outside. Soon after, Irene is inside sat with Alf and Marilyn. Willow comes in and sits with Colby, before Jasmine comes up the aisle to Robbo. Justin takes photographs. At the beach house, Bella messages Tommy to say she’ll be leaving in ten minutes and needs to be back before Irene gets home. Tommy assures her weddings always go on a long time.

The priest gets Robbo and Jasmine’s declaration to wed before inviting them to say their vows. (Scott is now sat with Lance.) Robbo says Jasmine brought him back to life and never gave up on him, promising to always protect her. Willow quietly checks Colby is all right. Jasmine says Robbo is her happy place and filled her life with joy. She promises to stand by him and love him. They exchange rings and the priest pronounces them husband and wife, to applause. At the Morgan house, Tori (still not changed) gets photos of the wedding on her phone from Justin and tells the baby that Daddy’s getting married.

Robbo and Jasmine exit the church to confetti-throwing crowds. Scott tells them he has to get going and Justin and Leah also leave to collect Tori, with Jasmine realising for the first time that she wasn’t there. Lance asks Colby about one of the guests; Colby doesn’t know his name but thinks he works with Jasmine at the hospital. Alf and Marilyn also give the newlyweds their congratulations. Jasmine also learns Robbo’s parents didn’t make it. Robbo assures her he didn’t want to cancel.

Justin and Leah arrive to pick up Tori. Justin tells her to get changed but, on learning Robbo’s parents missed the wedding, Tori thinks they won’t be in the right mood to meet her and she shouldn’t go. Justin puts down his car keys, realising they’re not going to be leaving any time soon.

Bella has got changed and is coming downstairs when there’s a banging on the door. She almost slips out the back way but ends up answering it: It’s Tommy, who introduces himself and says he was running early so decided to pick her up, having the address from when he sent her the camera. Bella is pleased to meet him in person. Tommy asks her to invite him in and she does.

Robbo and Jasmine arrive at Salt to be greeted by a crowd including Irene, Marilyn, Colby, Willow and Lance. Irene reminds Jasmine that she told her the superstition was piffle. Lance gets a call from Scott and says to keep him updated and they’ll give Robbo and Jasmine as much time as they can. He looks over at the pair as everyone calls for a speech.

Tommy is looking over the camera he gave Bella and takes a picture of her. Bella says they need to get going but Tommy continues to take pictures of her and asks to see her film camera. When she suggests going again, Tommy somewhat menacingly asks what the rush is and says they’re getting to know each other. Bella looks uncomfortable.
