Extended Summary

Tasha’s upset as she explains she’s ready to move things to the next level… they’re both committed and love each other – why shouldn’t they sleep together? Robbie’s quiet as he takes all of this in. Tasha continues, explaining that she wanted everything to be wonderful… but because of that stupid jerk at the resort it’s all been ruined.

Leah’s trying to find a new caterer when her phone rings. Her brother Alexi can’t make it to the wedding, and he was Dan’s groomsman! Leah’s at her wits end convinced the wedding’s going to be a disaster. She’s still fretting about everything – the flowers, the food, the groomsman, when Amanda comes to the rescue – telling Leah that she made a call to a friend of hers who is a caterer and he’s happy to do the reception, despite the short notice! To Leah’s surprise, Amanda has saved the day and Leah can’t help but start to soften towards her.

Tasha’s on her own outside the resort. She’s no longer upset – just disappointed that her plans for the ‘special night’ didn’t work out. Robbie returns, breathless and tells her to come with him. With his hands over Tasha’s eyes, he leads her to the park and reveals what he’s been doing. Tasha smiles in surprise as she sees that Robbie has transformed the campsite into a makeshift romantic spot. Tasha pulls him towards her, and they start to kiss passionately… Lying on the sleeping bags, things are getting heated between Robbie and Tasha. It looks like they’re about to go further when Robbie stops. He always thought they would do things the traditional way… you know, get married. Tasha is thoughtful – let’s do it then. Dan reports to the girls that he’s sorted the groomsman issue – Scott will fill in for Alex. The girls go quiet (especially Hayley) as it suddenly dawns on them that this means he’ll be paired with Hayley! Amanda uses this to stir up a little tiff between Dan and Leah. It’s not a screaming match, just raised voices. Unseen by them, Amanda listens in with a smile…

Robbie and Tasha continue to discuss the idea of getting married. Tasha says they don’t have to have a wedding the proper old-fashioned way, but a ceremony that confirms their love and commitment to each other… They can do it right here and now … Robbie smiles at his girlfriend – he would love nothing more. They stand by the water’s edge at their romantic campsite. Robbie has a flower pinned to his shirt and Tasha, a flower in her hair. They hold hands and say their vows to each other. Tasha sheds tears of happiness as they put their commitment rings onto their wedding ring fingers. Both go quiet – knowing what comes next. Finally, Robbie breaks the awkwardness with a kiss… which slowly becomes more passionate as they start making love…

It’s the morning of the wedding and Leah thinks maybe she was wrong about Amanda after all. The phone rings. Leah grabs it – it’s someone from the church. It turns out that the priest’s mother has had a stroke and he won’t be able to perform the ceremony! The person on the other end of the phone says she’s terribly sorry but there’s little more she can do. She hangs up and we reveal it is Amanda who’s been talking to Leah – she’s the one trying to sabotage the wedding! Leah is near hysterics when Amanda arrives. Amanda pretends to be full of sympathy. Flower disasters, cancelled caterers, and missing groomsmen she can handle, but this is the final straw for her. Everything is going wrong. In tears, Leah tells her that she’s had enough – the wedding is off!
