RECAP
Peter tells Leah that they were at the same school – which is why she recognises him
An arm creeps into Irene’s car whilst she is asleep in the middle of the bush, and nicks off with her purse, phone, car keys etc.
Tasha tells Flynn and Sally that she wants to be a better person – she’s going to trust Flynn with her money as she doesn’t want to be ‘like this’ anymore
A stripper rocks up at the bucks party. She slimes all over Kane, who smiles a bit too enthusiastically, before she tells him “what does this prove? That I can get any of you, anytime, anywhere…”. Sarah pulls off the mask, forcefully kisses Kane, and departs amidst raucous cheers from the other guys.

***

BEACH HOUSE
Kane lies in bed, watching Kirsty as she sleeps. She awakes as he climbs out of the bed, and although she encourages him to “come back to bed”, he pulls on his trousers and insists that he has got some work to do on the boat. She noticed that he didn’t sleep well the previous night, and that they have barely spoken since he got in, but he brushes it off as nerves regarding the recommittment ceremony. She assures him that it will be a great day, and he agrees, crawling across the bed to kiss her, telling her to go back to sleep, before he leaves.

BEACH
Kane catches Peter as he comes out of the surf, and tells him that he needs a “chat”.

DINER
Kane repeats Sarah’s words from the previous night to Peter, and is convinced that she means the wedding. He didn’t mention it to anyone at the party as he didn’t want to freak them out, but he wants to know what Peter is going to do about it. He isn’t impressed when Peter informs him that Sarah wasn’t actually doing anything wrong by putting on a face mask and pretending to be a stripper – and even so, it’s just Kane’s word against hers if no one else recognised her. However, Peter assures Kane that he’ll talk to Sarah – he’ll just have to be careful how he does it. Kane thanks him as he departs, and Peter goes to talk to Leah, who is surprised to see him around off-duty. He tells her that he’s moved into the area. Leah tells him that she has spoken to her Mum, and she doesn’t remember him from school either – which is odd because her Mum, as P&C president, prided herself on knowing *everyone*. Peter jokes that he doesn’t remember her Mum either, before asking whether she was ‘short with dark hair’. Despite the description being general to say the least, Leah seems confident enough that he does remember her.

BEACH HOUSE
Irene tells Kirsty that something sounds ‘beaut’, and assures her that it doesn’t sound too ‘corny’ – she and Kane are just doing something that proves how much they care for one another. Kirsty is adamant that they only wanted something low-key, seeing as it’s Hayley and Noah’s big day.

Tasha arrives to see Irene, and Kirsty swiftly leaves them alone in order to go and see Kane. Irene and Tasha are obviously nervous, unsure what exactly to say to one another. Tasha apologises for how horrid she has been, and has realised that the only reason that Irene has been doing everything has been because she cares. Tasha still doesn’t think it was right, but she understands. Irene also voices apology for her actions, and this time Tasha listens calmly when Irene assures her that she just wants to protect her. Tasha then asks if she would be able to move back in and, needless to say, Irene would love to have her back – it’s her home, and they’re ‘family’. They hug.

DINER
Kirsty enters, and after taking a look around, she asks Alf whether Kane has been in – he isn’t on the boat. Alf drops Kane in it by mentioning that he was in an hour or so ago talking to Peter, but as Kirsty’s eyes widen in shock, Alf reassures her that they were only talking – with Leah chipping in that Peter was off-duty.

BEACH HOUSE
Irene wonders why Tasha decided to come back, and Tasha explains that Kim and Robbie made her realise that she couldn’t rush things with her father. Irene looks proud. She then asks Tasha whether she knows anything about where her belongings could have disappeared to, and Tasha seems to know who the culprit might have been

HOUSE-IN-THE-MIDDLE-OF-THE-BUSH
Irene and Tasha pull up outside the house, and they knock at the door. A lady answers, and quite warmly greets Tasha, who intoduces Irene to ‘Mrs Soames’. She comments on how well and grown-up that Tasha is looking, before enquiring as to what they’re doing there. Tasha explains that Irene had some possessions stolen whilst she was out in the bush, and wonders if ‘Billy’ is still hanging around. Mrs Soames is quick to jump to ‘Billy’s’ defence, but Irene assures her that they’re not there to cause trouble – she just wants her things back. Billy isn’t home at the moment, and Mrs Soames suggests that she has a talk with him and gives her a call. Irene decides to have a go at something before they leave, and uses Tasha’s phone to call her own mobile. Lo and behold, despite the fact that the phone has been on for goodness knows how many days, and that it’s hidden away in a rundown building at the bottom of the garden, they actually hear it ringing. They recover Irene’s phone, and Mrs Soames is distressed that Billy is still up to his old tricks, apologising profoundly to Irene. They decide to talk a look for Irene’s other possessions in the room.

BEACH HOUSE
Kane arrives home, and Kirsty puts the barriers up when he goes to hug her, and forcefully demands to know what’s going on – he hasn’t been working on the boat, and she knows he has been talking to Detective Baker. Kane shifts around guiltily as Kirsty jumps to the conclusion that he is in some sort of trouble. He feebly tries to deny it, resulting in her stressing out even more – she should have known the wedding wouldn’t go smoothly. He assures her he’s NOT in any trouble with the police – he wasn’t talking to Peter because he’s done anything wrong. She still wants to know what is going on, refusing to accept his insistence that it’s “nothing”. He reaffirms that he and Peter were simply talking, and then smoothly changes the subject, pointing out that they shouldn’t be argueing the day before their wedding. He promises her that nothing will spoil their day, and whatever he whispers into her ear seems to remove the frown from her face quickly enough.

BREAK

POLICE STATION
Peter shows Sarah into his office for a chat, wanting to discuss a few things about Felix’s death with her…

THE-HOUSE-IN-THE-MIDDLE-OF-THE-BUSH
Tasha, Irene and Mrs Soames have been unable to locate the rest of Irene’s things, and Mrs Soames assures them that she’ll get them out of Billy once he gets home and will drop them over. As Mrs Soames and Tasha bid goodbye, Irene jots down her address. Once Tasha is out of earshot, Mrs Soames comments on how much better Tasha is now looking, and on how “those people” used to make Tasha live. Irene is intruiged to discover that Mrs Soames knew Tasha’s ‘parent’s’ – they were friendly when they first moved in. She agrees to have a chat with Irene sometime to further discuss Tasha’s past.

POLICE STATION
Peter thanks Sarah for being “so helpful” – it’s always good to have cooperation, especially as some investigations drag on and people get angry… he then ‘subtley’ mentions that sometimes people try and get revenge for the death of loved ones – and it’s particularly frustrating when they start to target the wrong person… he hates seeing innocent people suffer. Not surprisingly, Sarah gets the hint and asks him outright what he is accusing her of, working out that he thinks she is a nutcase. She assumes that he is already aware of her history, and Peter is quick to tell her that he’s just showing concern. She (somewhat sarcastically) thanks him – it’s always comforting to know that she has *so much* support at such a tragic time. However, she insists that she is fine. He thanks her for coming in, and as he shows her out he assures her that he won’t give up until he gets justice. She smirks, telling him to let her know if there’s anything that she can do.

BEACH HOUSE
Irene takes her shoes off and lies back on the sofa to relax… just as there is a knock at the door. She is understandably peeved, but pleased to discover Mrs Soames, or Pam as we are now referring to her, returning the rest of Billy’s takings. She is still apologetic, but Irene is just happy to have her things back – especially so quickly, and there seems to be nothing missing. Tasha is out, and Pam is glad – she has some things to tell Irene that she would never want Tasha to hear.

WHARF
Kane is working, and Kirsty is by his side, trying in vain to work out what he has planned for the recommittment ceremony, guessing wrongly a poem, the releasing of two doves as a symbol of love, and a plane to write “I love you Kirst” in the sky. He refuses to give her a clue, and she playfully hits him as Peter approaches, informing her that domestic violence is a serious crime. He’s there for a chat with Kane, and the look on Kirsty’s face when Kane tells her that he’ll catch up with her, tells us that the secretivity is doing Kane no favours. Peter reckons that she has a right to know the truth, but Kane insists that he doesn’t want her worrying. Peter tells Kane that he spoke to Sarah, and sounds a bit too optimistic when he tells Kane that Sarah won’t be bothering them for a while. Kane returns to Kirsty, followed by Peter, who announces to Kirsty that there is something that she has a right to know – something that Kane didn’t want to mention. Kane mumbles “What’re you doing?!” under his breath in horror, but nonetheless, Peter persists, informing Kirsty that Kane has a problem. “Shut uuup!” hisses Kane, as Kirsty stresses out. Peter then announces that – shock horror – Kane is mates with a cop! Kane glances down, biting back a relieved and embarrassed laugh, as Kirsty wonders what the hell is going on. Peter explains again for her benefit – “Kane and I are mates”, and explains that it may not seem like a biggie, but “with a rap sheet like his I’d be embarrassed to be mates with a cop as well!”. He voices hopes that they have a good wedding, and departs. Kirsty turns her back on Kane, marching away down the beach, but laughs it off as soon as he catches her up, proclaiming him “an idiot” for not saying anything.

BEACH HOUSE
Pam explains that Tasha’s parents knew her birth mother – she’d been seduced by some older wealthy man and didn’t want to keep the baby. Apparently the father gave the Andrews’ a lot of money at some stage, but the birth mother didn’t have a lot. At first, they kept in touch with the birth mother, and she visited a couple of times, but there was an arguement after which the birth mother never visited again. However, it was known that the birth mother was “a bit loopy” and paranoid. Irene laughs knowingly, and Pam is surprised to learn that she knew Angie. Irene explains that Angie died before Tasha rocked up in the Bay, but that it was for the best – she was more than just a few sandwiches short of a picnic.

DINER
Leah catches up with Peter as he orders a chocolate cake, and presents him with a photo of ‘his class’ at school – trouble is, he isn’t in it. He gives a simple explanation – he hated photos and never went. Leah doesn’t look convinced, and still doesn’t remember him, but Alf is fed up – she should just get over the fact that she has forgotten him.

WHARF
Peter makes a phone call to tell someone that he has been recognised by Leah Patterson – she doesn’t know where from, and she’s suss. However, ‘they’ knew it would always be a problem with him coming to the Bay.

BEACH
Pam wishes there was more she could tell Irene about Tasha, but Irene is just grateful to get any kind of insight. Kirsty interrupts, embarrassed as she realises Irene has company. Irene tells Kirsty that Laura called, and that she had better call her back. As Kirsty goes to do so, hoping that Laura can make it to the wedding, Irene explains unnecessarily to Pam that Kirsty has just met her twin sister. However, this random piece of information just happens to jog Pam’s memory – Angie had a double…

DINER
Irene has chosen to go to Alf with her newly aquired information – Angie has a cousin who is ‘a dead ringer’! Irene doesn’t know what they can tell Tasha, seeing as they don’t know anything about this woman – she could be a nun. Er… yes. The cousin knows that Tasha exists, but has made no attempt to contact her, and both Irene and Alf are aware that if Tasha knows of her existence, then she would try and track her down.

BEACH
Peter talks a walk as it gets dark. He recieves a phone call, and responds to the caller “yeah, sure… give me ten minutes”

PATTERSON HOUSE
Peter arrives to see Leah, who invites him in before telling him that her Mum has assured her that there was NO ONE missing on the day of that photo. The reason she doesn’t remember him from school is because he never went there, and she demands to know the reason behind his lies.
