Colleen has an investigation of her own. How far will Angelo go to repay Belle’s infidelity? Miles and Kirsty get things back on track.

Extended Summary

Miles and Kirsty are still trying to work out what their kiss meant when Alf comes along and interrupts the moment. They both have trouble sleeping that night and it takes a day full of accidents, repeatedly breaking and fixing Melody’s statue of Mary, for them to finally get back to the moment. Kirsty says she wants to try again. So does Miles, but he wants to take things slow, and see how they go.

Though thrilled to be pregnant, Rachel decides it’s best to keep the news under wraps for a while, and only tell Jack and Leah. Leah is thrilled, but Jack is so consumed by his investigation and his worry for Martha that Tony decides it’s best to leave it. Unfortunately, when Colleen sees Tony warning Rachel off a particular machine at the gym, she takes the scent, and after seeing Rachel and Leah celebrating, and Leah writing Tony and Rachel a card, she works it out in time to tell Jack before Tony does. Jack is only happy for his father and Rachel, and they all celebrate.

When Belle catches Aden up late at night studying, she tells him to leave it till morning. But he can’t, he has his first community service in the morning, followed by an exam. Belle thinks that’s crazy, they were supposed to wave his service until after his HSC. But when he goes to the police the next day to plead leniency, Angelo is only too happy to take his case, and turn it down. Belle can’t believe Angelo would use his power for his own personal vendetta, but Aden thinks it’s best to just leave it.

When Angelo walks past Aden and some others doing their community service, one of the others hurls a wet sponge at his back Angelo immediately blames Aden, and he’s ready for a fight until Alf arrives on the scene. Belle asks Jack and Charlie to warn Angelo off, but unless she makes an official complaint, there’s nothing they can do. While there, she’s asked to identify her camera, and she realises that the memory card handed in with it isn’t hers, she uses a different brand. That means the real card is still out there, with her photos still intact, and even as they realise the truth, Murray creeps up to Belle’s window and slips the real card inside.

Jack warns Angelo of Belle’s visit, and suggests he be careful. Angelo puts on a thankful face, and then storms off to Belle’s where he goes ballistic, hurling furniture and abusing her. Aden arrives as Angelo is on his way out, and is pushed heavily to the wall. Aden goes after him, but Angelo refuses to take it any further, knowing how much Aden would love to get him on assault charges. Then Aden heads back to the house and finds Belle unconscious and bloodied on her bedroom floor.
