Extended Summary

Colby, Jasmine and Ebony head into the surf club and decide to have a game of pool before the gig. Olivia turns up and quietly asks Jasmine what Ebony’s doing there. Ebony suggests that she and Colby partner up against Olivia and Jasmine. The others agree but Olivia tells Jasmine she doesn’t trust Ebony. Later, Jasmine cosies up to Colby as he plays a shot. Hunter comes in and confirms he’s also going to the gig but when Ebony invites him to join them he tells her he and Olivia split up recently, although he also points out Colby and Jasmine seem to be getting on fine. Olivia complains to Jasmine about Hunter talking to Ebony about her. Jasmine suggests she’s easy to talk to but Olivia thinks only for men. Ebony convinces Hunter to join them. Olivia suggests she and him partner Colby and Jasmine, leaving Ebony out.

Coco and Ziggy are by Maggie’s side in her room, while Ben and Brody are in the corridor. Tori approaches and Ziggy comes out to join them. Tori says they’re still hoping the anitibiotics work: If they don’t, then the last resort is a super-antibiotic, vancomysin. Ziggy feels she’s to blame and leaves, with Brody following her. Tori suggests to Ben that he and the girls should see a counsellor. Back at the farm house, Brody and Ziggy find a cool box of food that John and Marilyn left. Ziggy tells Brody he should get back to work. Brody wants to stay but Ziggy snaps that it’s not about him, and insists he won’t convince her she’s not to blame. He tells her to call him if she needs him.

Olivia misses a shot and Colby takes his turn. Ebony pats him on the shoulder and makes a big show of checking him out, causing Olivia to mutter complaints to Jasmine. Colby misses as well so Hunter pots the last ball. They decide to go upstairs. Olivia and Jasmine hang back with Olivia insisting Ebony is after Colby. Jasmine refuses to discuss it and goes outside. There, Brody approaches, on the phone to Ben, telling him Ziggy could do with someone checking on her. He sees Jasmine and tells her about Maggie’s results and Ziggy’s reaction. Jasmine advises him to give her time.

Ziggy is clearing the table but seems agitated, hyperventilating. She spots the photo of the family taken on her birthday and ends up sweeping everything off the kitchen surface and then sinking to the floor, sobbing. Ben and Coco come home and both crouch down with her, hugging her. Back at Salt, the singer is performing as Brody tends bar; he gets a text from Ben saying Ziggy’s fine and thanking him. Colby, Ebony and Hunter come up to order drinks and pizza, which Colby insists on paying for. Jasmine joins Olivia at the table as Ebony comes over, complimenting Colby. Olivia sharply tells her to remember he’s taken and Ebony says that’s not what he says. Jasmine snaps that he is so she should back off, which Colby gets back in time to hear. Jasmine follows him out onto the balcony where he asks if she meant it, reminding her he can’t commit to anything. Jasmine suggests they forget about it but Colby decides to call it a night.

Colby returns to the flat alone. He gets a text from Ebony saying she hopes he’s all right but tosses the phone away. At the farm house, Ben says his goodbyes to Ziggy, who promises to look after Coco. Ben goes to the hospital and settles himself next to Maggie for the night, while Ziggy drapes a blanket over herself and Coco as they cuddle up on the couch.

Next morning, Maggie comes round and finds Ben asleep next to her. She nudges him awake and he is delighted to see she looks great. Tori comes in and says the antibiotics seem to be working. Soon after, Ziggy is on the phone to Ben at the house and tells Coco that Maggie’s come round and Ben has spoken to her. Brody turns up and Coco goes to have a shower. Ziggy fills him in and Brody offers to drive them to the hospital. Ziggy tells him he can go afterwards but Brody tells her not to push him away and again tries to get her to not blame herself.

At the Diner, Hunter shows Leah the mock-up website he’s done, which includes both links and room for her to add vlogs when she’s done them. He says she can turn comments on and off but Leah is keen to have comments. At the counter, Jasmine approachs Colby and tries to clear the air but he’s in a rush. She asks if he’s free that night and he, slightly dismissively, says he’ll call her. A short time later, Leah and Jasmine go for a walk on the headland, with Jasmine commenting on Ebony being seen as the victim. Leah asks if Jasmine wants to be more than casual with Colby. Jasmine says he’s confided in her a lot, including the fact he used to be a River Boy. Leah is shocked.

Leah goes to Colby’s flat and asks if it’s true. Colby realises Jasmine told her but Leah says Jasmine doesn’t know what it means. She adds that she knew the Braxtons and while they weren’t bad people, they brought a lot of trouble to the town. Colby insists that that’s behind him. Leah says she won’t report him, but if Dean and others know then sooner or later someone will find out. At the hospital, Ben, Ziggy, Coco and Brody are all gathered around Maggie as Tori notes she’s recovering from the pneumonia. Maggie asks about the cancer tests. Ben tries to put the news off but Tori has to tell her the transplant didn’t work. Ziggy apologises but Maggie makes it clear she doesn’t blame her, although she does ask the others to leave so she can talk to Tori. Tori agrees it was her best chance so they’ll now have to look on the register. Maggie reflects that time’s running out.

Jasmine and Colby meet up on the headland. Colby asks if she told Leah about him being a River Boy. Jasmine says she understands that it’s embarassing for him. Colby corrects her that it’s against the law. However, he also has concerns about the previous night. Jasmine admits that she wants more than just a casual relationship. Colby says it’s best if they end things. Jasmine agrees but looks upset as she walks away. She meets up with Leah at the Diner and they chat in the kitchen about Colby. Ebony comes in and overhears them saying Colby was a River Boy. Ebony looks them up on her phone and smiles.

At the hospital, Tori is on the phone to a Doctor Hooper, asking about matches for Maggie on the register. Someone comes up to the counter behind her. When she turns round, she sees that it’s Ash.
