Extended Summary
Robert Robertson continues his investigation into Grant’s murder and decides to have a chat with Ross. While Morag asks Angelo if he killed Grant – something he denies – Robert charms Leah until she learns he’s the one investigating Grant’s death and gunning for Charlie.
At the police station, Robert – who continues to grow more mysterious and peculiar by the day with his contradictory and bizarre behaviour – comments to Angelo about parts of his personal file that are missing, before joining Charlie and Morag at the nursing home to chat to Ross. Robert asks Ross if he was the one responsible for Grant’s death and Charlie storms out in disgust. However, Morag points out that Robert was testing Charlie to see how she would react.
Robert interviews Leah about Charlie’s whereabouts on the night Grant was killed and, while Leah tells the truth, Morag is adamant that no-one connected to Charlie will talk to Robert without her present from now on.
Liam meets with a real estate agent about purchasing a property in the Bay and settling down. While he’s not taken with a number of places shown to him, Liam eventually finds a rundown restaurant that takes his fancy and he swiftly acquires it. Meanwhile, Liam apologises to Aden for disrupting Belle’s funeral and Aden tells him to keep away. Later, after making friends with Romeo – who is still struggling to find work – Liam offers him the job of fixing up the restaurant.
Hugo is less than impressed with John Palmer as he chats to the press during his campaign to win a seat at the upcoming council elections, while an exhausted Rachel struggles to cope with a restless Harry.
