Extended Summary
After sharing a kiss, Nicole admits to Sid that she loves him, but Sid is less than impressed and insists that she leave. Meanwhile at Noah’s Bar, Indigo tries to persuade Alf to serve her alcohol after having witnessed her father and Nicole kiss, but he refuses and instead tells her to go home. However, Indigo has other ideas and meets up with a group of teenagers.
While Sid and Nicole begin to worry about her whereabouts, Indigo spirals out of control with her new friends. After sleeping on the sofa, Indigo gets up but loses her footing and falls over, crashing through a glass coffee table and badly cutting her face.
With Sid worried sick over Indigo’s whereabouts; the group of teenagers drop Indigo at the hospital before running off. While Indigo is treated for her injuries, she refuses to see her father and instead requests to see her mum.
Meanwhile, Ruby sets about tracking down her biological father Grant. Having lied to Geoff by saying she’s off to visit Ross in the city, Ruby tracks down her father and poses as a babysitter named Lucy in order to get close to Grant and his family. However, when she’s taken in by the family, Ruby reveals the truth about Grant’s past to his wife and is swiftly thrown out of the house.
Back in Summer Bay, Charlie is told by Geoff that Ruby is in the city. Having located a copy of Grant’s address that Ruby used, Charlie heads off in search of her daughter. Later, following Ruby’s confrontation with Grant, Charlie finds Ruby and takes her back to the Bay. However, they’re both unaware they’ve been followed and are shell-shocked when Grant turns up on their doorstep.
