Rachel has an emergency with the baby’s delivery, but where is Tony? Aden makes a strange request of Nicole. Belle reveals a secret that will change peoples’ lives forever.
Extended Summary
After having contractions at Belle’s hen night, Rachel is taken to the hospital where doctors are concerned for her unborn child. With the baby in distress, Rachel is told that she’ll have to have an emergency caesarean. However, Rachel’s baby isn’t hanging around and there’s not enough time to get Rachel up to surgery. Giving birth to a baby boy, Rachel and Tony are concerned when doctor’s worry about the newborn’s breathing. Later, having been given the all clear, an overjoyed Rachel and Tony proudly name their new son Harry.
Leah questions Belle over why she wasn’t drinking at her hen party and Belle lies that since rehab, she has been trying to steer clear of alcohol as well as drugs. Later, Belle arrives home and talks to Aden about Rachel going into labour. However, when Aden suggests the idea of them one day having children of their own, Belle is overcome with emotion and breaks down in tears.
Nicole arrives home some time later and talks to Belle about the wedding. Belle tells Nicole that her wedding dress isn’t quite right and Nicole offers to do the alterations for her. The pair talk and Nicole apologises for all the problems that she’s caused Belle and Aden over the past couple of months. Belle tells Nicole that Aden is lucky to have such a good friend.
The next day, Belle suggests to Aden that seeing as Roman isn’t around, he should ask Nicole to be his best man. Aden takes Belle’s suggestion on board and asks Nicole, but she isn’t so convinced. Later, Nicole arrives home to find Belle taking her medication. Believing Belle is back using drugs, Nicole angrily confronts her, but Belle is forced to come clean and admits to Nicole that she is dying.
