Extended Summary

Tori runs into Colby near the beach and asks if he’s heard anything from Jasmine. Colby points out Tori took out the AVO so she wouldn’t have to worry anymore but Tori says it’s not as easy as that. Marilyn appears with Grace and says they’ve spent most of their time at Tori’s place. Tori says it’s fine for Marilyn to take Grace to hers but Marilyn says it’s difficult with Amber there, describing her as bossy and scary. At the Shaw farm, Jasmine is helping Ian put up a fence and he comments on how much she’s changed since she first came there. Wendy appears with a flask and she and Ian quietly talk about the fact Jasmine still hasn’t said anything. Jasmine listens to Irene’s irate voicemail and looks irritated.

Irene complains to Leah, Marilyn and Tori about the lack of word from Jasmine. Marilyn suggests Robbo’s parents would look after her but Tori worries that Jasmine isn’t following the care plan and wonders if she should call her. Irene thinks that would make things worse and Leah suggests they just have to trust Ian and Wendy. Back at the Stewart house, Ryder notes he was expecting it but it was still a shock. Roo tells him Evan had a room with a view of the sea and everyone listened to his guitar playing. Ryder thinks he was hiding the pain but Roo says the medication was generally working and he died peacefully with her holding his hand. Ryder goes for a walk and sits on the beach watching the video of Evan’s gig. He angrily throws the phone into the sea, then it dawns on him what he’s done and he rushes to retrieve it.

Irene checks on Tori at the Diner and notes if Jasmine had got help she wouldn’t be missing out on Grace. Leah asks Marilyn how she’s liking her freedom and Marilyn promptly volunteers to work at the Diner. Justin arrives and tries to get Tori to stop feeling guilty about Jasmine, saying you can’t force someone to accept help. Tori thinks that someone can. Back at the Shaw farm, Ian and Jasmine join Wendy in the house. Jasmine looks at the mantelpiece, which includes photos of Robbo including one of their wedding  and one of Robbo and his parents with Grace, and says she likes being surrounded by his things. She suggests she could move there, into the cottage Ian and Wendy were setting up for them. The pair cautiously agree. After Jasmine has gone, they note she didn’t mention Grace.

Tori goes to see Colby and tells him they need to get Jasmine help: She wants them to drive to the Shaw farm. Colby reminds her about the AVO but Tori says she doesn’t care about that. Colby gets a call from Ian. Downstairs, Irene tries to get Marilyn to go home and Marilyn admits she doesn’t have anywhere else to go. Roo arrives looking for Ryder and Leah realises that if she’s back Evan must be dead. Roo confirms it. Marilyn sits Roo down. Roo asks about John. Marilyn tells her he finally has a carer he likes but notes she feels like a stranger in her own home.

Ryder arrives back at the house and is relieved when his phone turns on. Roo arrives and comforts Ryder as he tearfully tells her he thought he was ready. Later, Roo gives Ryder the guitar, saying Evan wanted him to have it. Ryder discovers Evan has had a plate put on it inscribed “For my son”. He takes the guitar and starts strumming it.

Wendy and Jasmine are preparing the meal and Jasmine contemplates getting a job at the local hospital. Ian comes in and gestures to Wendy who sends Jasmine outside to get some rosemary. Ian says that all Colby would tell him is that Tori’s getting funny about Jasmine seeing Grace. Wendy protests that Jasmine is Grace’s only link to Robbo. They decide to try and talk to Jasmine tomorrow. Outside the Diner, Colby and Tori relate to Leah and Irene that the Shaws don’t know anything about Jasmine and that she’s planning to stay there. Tori still wants to go and see her, asking Leah if she and Justin could look after Grace, but no-one else thinks it’s a good idea. Irene and Colby decide that they’ll go.

Next morning, Tori and Justin are walking with Grace in a park area. Tori still thinks she should have been the one to go see Jasmine and also that she was the one who pushed her over the edge. Justin’s frustration boils over and he says Tori can go to the farm and hand Grace over to Jasmine if she wants because he’s done. Meanwhile, Ryder is finishing a phone call with Alf, filling him in. He asks Roo about the funeral and she says Evan organised and paid for it. Ryder wonders if he should tell Quinn and decides to talk to her on the way to TAFE. Roo is surprised he’s going in but he says he doesn’t want to fall behind.

Ian and Wendy are sorting out the washing when Jasmine comes outside, talking about how hot it is. Ian and Wendy try to ask her if anything’s happened at home but she dodges the subject and says she’ll get changed for work. At that moment, Irene and Colby pull up. Jasmine does not look happy. Meanwhile, Tori arrives at the Diner with Grace and, after a quick chat with Leah, joins Justin. She apologises, saying he’s right that she shouldn’t go to the Shaws’ and she’ll leave it up to Irene and Colby. Justin is pleased and says he worries about her. Tori asks what he’s doing for the rest of the day. Justin says he and Leah were going to Yabbie Creek but Leah says she can go on her own so Tori and Justin can spend time together.

Irene and Colby walk with Ian and Wendy making small talk while Jasmine trails behind. Jasmine eventually asks why they’re there and insists she’s fine. Irene says if she was fine she’d be at home with them. Jasmine says she left town to get away from them and they’ve followed her here and made her out to be a crazy person. She tells them to leave her alone and walks away.
