Nicole is intent on starting a relationship with Sid and they share a kiss. Jai decides to fight for Annie by throwing her relationship with Dexter into turmoil. Kirsty and Miles clash over Kirsty’s pregnancy.
Extended Summary
Having developed feelings for Sid, Nicole begins to make her feelings for the father of her best friend quite clear. However, Sid is adamant that nothing will ever happen between them. Later, Indigo invites Nicole around for dinner and Sid is less than thrilled at her arrival, excusing himself by saying he has a lot of work to do at the hospital.
The following day, Indigo confides in Nicole about Sid’s weird behaviour but Nicole remains tight-lipped about her feelings. Later, after Indigo spills a coffee on Nicole, she demands to be taken to the hospital. Sid is less than pleased to see Nicole and tells her that there’s no need for her to be at the hospital as her burns aren’t that bad.
After having confirmed that Sid isn’t working at the hospital, Nicole pays him a visit at home and admits that she’s a mess. When Sid offers her comfort with a hug, Nicole seizes the opportunity and kisses him. Despite Sid pulling away, Indigo has seen everything.
Jai confronts Annie about her relationship with Dexter and Annie is forced to admit that they are dating each other and have been for a few weeks. Later, an upset Annie seeks advice from Irene about what to do and Irene says that Annie needs to talk to Jai.
After Jai spots Annie and Dexter in the Diner, Jai storms out while Annie chases after him, desperate to talk to him. However, it is Dexter who next sees Jai and tells him that Annie is happy with him. Later, Annie breaks things off with Dexter, citing Jai’s hurt feelings as the reason. However, when she bumps into Jai on the beach, Annie is taken aback by Jai’s claims that she and Dexter won’t last. Annie snaps and tells Jai that she’s with Dexter now and he needs to deal with it.
Kirsty and Miles continue to clash over her pregnancy. Despite Miles’s protests that it is his baby too, Kirsty is adamant that she’s feeling pressured and wants to assess all their options.
