Extended Summary

Alf is angry with Emma and she drags her into the kitchen and yell at her. Emma says she is sorry. She is angry and walks away.

Steven and Paul wait in Diner for Emma. Paul is worried about if she did get the job at the interview.

Emma and Alf continue to argue. Alf is angry since she skipped school. She is annoyed since he won’t listen to her.

Bobby is tired of Fisher trying to get her to calm down due to pregnancy. She doesn’t like him interfering. He thinks she is too stressed and that it might be bad for the baby.

Fisher notice that Marilyn’s essay was lifted straight from a book (Shakespeare’s Othello) and understand it is copied nearly identical. It is the essay that Matt and Adam faked since they ruined Marilyn’s original one. He tell Bobby that he have to fail her.

Maz talks to Grant. She is so excited about how she did on her essay.

Emma and Paul talk on the beach with Steven. Emma is convinced she didn’t get the job she applied for.

Alf talks to Ailsa about the troubles with Emma. Emma walks in and she explains that she was on a job interview for a job working with tourists.

Maz try to get Fisher to tell her about her marking on the essay. He can’t say a thing to her about it.

Emma doesn’t want to go back to school.

Fisher tries to tell Maz about marking on her essay. She gets the wrong idea that she passed on it since Fisher didn’t actually get a chance to say anything!

Fisher tells Marilyn in front of class about her copied essay but she doesn’t understand that it is her essay that he is talking about! Maz get her essay back and she notice she failed. She is shocked and can’t understand why!

She tries to convince Fisher she didn’t write this essay but he doesn’t believe her.

Ailsa feeds Duncan with a bottle while talking to Alf about the problems with Emma.

Maz talks to Grant about her copied essay disaster. She suspects it is either Adam or Matt who must have written the copied essay.

Ailsa couldn’t find a babysitter for Duncan so she took him with her to the Diner. Bobby offers to baby-sit him. Ailsa is grateful.

Steven, Paul and Emma are about to go out to a disco together. Maz tell Ailsa about it.

Steven talks to Emma. She admit she doesn’t like Paul as deeply as before. Steven wants her to tell that to Paul.
