Kirsty’s first day at university ends in a big fight with Miles. Charlie reveals further secrets to Angelo. Rachel is threatened by Jane.
Extended Summary
Ruby apologises to Charlie over what happened to her baby all those years ago. Ruby questions Charlie about how old she was and is surprised when Charlie replies she was 16. The next day, Charlie invites Angelo over and tells him the truth about the baby she had as a teenager. She says that Angelo wanted her to be honest with him and reveals the reason that she got pregnant wasn’t from a teen romance gone wrong, but from her being raped.
Kirsty is nervous about her first day of university. Managing to bond with a couple of students, Kirsty suggests they go back to her house to study. As the study session disintegrates into a night of drinking, Miles tries to get Kirsty to calm things down. However, the drinks keep on coming and Miles becomes fed up. Turning off the music, he tells Kirsty and her friends that the study session is over and suggests they head home, leaving Kirsty angry and upset with him.
Tony offers to take baby Harry out for a couple of hours, giving Rachel time to relax and treat herself. Rachel admits to Leah that she doesn’t feel like she’s coping and can’t help but worry and fret over Harry. Leah tells her that it is perfectly normal for new mother’s to worry but reassures Rachel that she’ll get there in time. Later, a revitalised Rachel admits to Tony that he was right and all she needed was some ‘me time’. Later, Jane approaches Rachel out the front of her house and tells Rachel she could’ve done more to save her baby. Jane then labels Rachel a bad mother and tells her she doesn’t deserve Harry. Rachel tells Jane to stay away from her and her family – otherwise she’ll be forced to call the police.
Morag says to Ross and Ruby that she feels awful about forcing Charlie into revealing the truth about her baby. Morag says she tried to apologise to Charlie this morning but she didn’t want to hear it and Ross advises her to leave things for the time being. Morag says it must have been traumatic for Charlie and Ross says that it wasn’t pleasant, but it all worked out in the end with the adoption firm. A confused Morag questions Ross and he reveals that Charlie’s baby didn’t die. Later, Morag and Charlie share a heart-to-heart and Morag admits all she wants is for Charlie to be happy. Despite Charlie suggesting it be better for Morag and Ross to move on, Morag insists they’re staying.
Angelo talks to Charlie about all she’s been through and tells her she is strong to have gone through what she has. He says all he wanted was for her to open up to him and be honest. Angelo tells Charlie that he still loves her and asks her to take him back. Charlie asks Angelo if he’s sure that’s what he wants and he tells her it is before kissing her.
