Extended Summary

Rachel is struggling to cope with everything going on in her life and is relieved to hear from the hospital’s legal team that the case with Rex and Jane has been dropped as there’s no case to answer to. Rachel is further relieved to hear that Rex and Jane have accepted the hospital’s findings, but admits to Tony that she understands what pain Jane must be going through.

Jane and Rex arrive at Rachel and Tony’s. They apologise for everything, however, Rachel is alarmed that they’ve managed to track down her address. As Rex continues talking, Jane can’t take her eyes off baby Harry. Rachel notices Jane’s fixation on her son and alarm bells immediately begin ringing. Later, Rachel wakes up after taking a nap to find Tony and Harry gone. She panics and later finds Tony and Harry in the Diner. Rachel snaps at Tony never to do that to her again.

Charlie reveals to Ruby that Angelo has ended their relationship. Ruby questions whether it is because of Joey, but Charlie says that’s only part of the reason. With Charlie still in pain from her accident, Ruby offers to go with her to the hospital in the morning.

The following day, Charlie is at the hospital to be checked out. Sid questions her about whether there were any complications with her pregnancy, but Charlie insists she has never been pregnant. When he questions the caesarean scar, Charlie passes it off as an extended laparotomy scar from when she was a teenager. Ruby finds it weird that two doctors have mistaken the scar for a caesarean scar and says that Charlie has never told her about the operation. Charlie says she has, but Ruby was too young to remember.

Sid talks to Charlie about the caesarean scar and Charlie reveals that she was only young when she had the baby. Charlie adds that Ross is the only one who knows about her child and insists that’s how she’d like things to remain.

Ruby reveals to Charlie that sleeping with Xavier was wonderful and couldn’t have been better. When Ruby questions Charlie about her first time, she reveals that it wasn’t so good, but before she can elaborate they are interrupted by Ross and Morag.

Ross and Charlie are talking about what’s happened. Ross tells Charlie that he hasn’t said a thing to Morag about Charlie’s past and insists that what Charlie does or doesn’t say about the baby is her business. In the living room, Morag listens in and is shellshocked to hear that Charlie has a child. At dinner, no-one is speaking and Ruby breaks the silence, saying it’s weird that no-one is talking. Morag pipes up and begins to question Charlie about what happened when she was a teenager. Morag then reveals the truth about giving birth to Bobby when she was a teenager and tells Charlie that everyone is there to support her. Charlie then admits that she had a baby as a teenager but it died, leaving Morag and Ruby in a stunned silence.

Hugo and Martha are in the Diner discussing Ruby and Xavier taking their relationship to the next level. Martha suggests that Hugo and her stay at the farmhouse themselves, but Hugo isn’t so sure and suggests Ruby and Xavier may use it as a chance to spend the night alone together at home. Ross and Morag arrive at the Diner and Ross apologises to Martha and Hugo over how he reacted to walking in on Xavier and Ruby. Later at the farm, Hugo tries to resist Martha’s ways, but gives in to temptation and jumps into bed with her.
