I think Mackenzie's just got a naturally flirtatious personality: She pretty much talks to Dean the same way! It seems to be like she bluntly shut Tane down every time he said anything suggestive right from the start, it's just the disparity between what she said and how she said it could be construed as a mixed message. It feels like a long time ago when they had that conversation on the beach where Tane accepted she was with Ari and decided to back off. So I think the line's been drawn, it's just a case of them working out a way to go forward and whether avoiding each other completely is really the best way to achieve it. I think she enjoys his company and maybe she's trying to get him used to interacting with her in a platonic sense.Giving him the job at Salt seemed to be at least partly down to helping out Ari by keeping Tane on the straight and narrow. Maybe she hasn't handled it as well as she could have done but she's made her position clear.

I agree that she's got flirtatious personality and that the way she says things might come out differently, but after their talk at the beach right at the beginning (where she made her position clear) she made a few questionable decisions - getting into the fight, giving him grief for sleeping with someone else, purposely trying to make Tane jealous, approaching him on multiple occasions to flirt, not to mention being called out by Bella for being jealous, being called out by Dean for the way she looked at Tane, being called out by Amber, telling Ziggy that it's disaster waiting to happen and pausing when Ari directly asked her if she wanted to be with Tane, etc. I just think you wouldn't do things like that if its just platonic relationship you're after. As I said I think she has got feeling for both of them, and liked Tane's attention, but chose Ari as he is more reliable. However now that they will spend less time together I hope this storyline will just go away. All three characters deserve better, and it's been going on in circles for months now.

With Ziggy and Mac living together I don't really think it's going to be a problem to keep Colby's secret. Ziggy pretty much dumped Dean and stopped discussing it. So unless Bella or Willow move in there there is no need for it to be mentioned at the Farm house. I was a bit surprised that Mac didn't really push to find out what really happened between Ziggy and Dean, but then again she was always kept out of everything that group does even though she's Dean's sister.

I'm also surprised that the Paratas and Mac are not even curious about what is going on between Bella and Colby. They spent days looking for her and Nik with literally no explanation, I mean they got some vague explanation from Nik. Now Bella left home. I would find that very suspicious especially because there is active murder investigation. I don't think Bella and Nik are ready to move in together, but I think Nik has taken the roll Colby had in Bella's life - being the one she can always rely on. She was always close with Dean and Willow, but Colby was her number 1 person and now is Nik.

Same here I don't see how Mac is being dominated by men.  Maybe she had been by her dad but she got away from him and is unlikely to let that happen again.    But her storylines have mainly  involved men. I agree she can be on the flirtatious side which is risky for either sex.  Tane may have been a player but he has real feelings for Mac even Nik picked up on that, so must be hard for him. I'm wondering though if she is moving out not only to give Tane a break, she must realise he feels uncomfortable around her, but because part of her is attracted to him. so it's to give herself a break too.  I think her and Ari are good together and it's not casual anymore she told him she wanted to move it on.   I guess it's easy to settle into a routine/rut when you move into someone else's home for 'a while', Leah was only meant to be at Alf's for a short time and look how long that lasted for!  Mac can't completely avoid Tane at home because that would make Ari suspicious.  Her moving into Ziggy's gives them the space they both need. If they aren't in each others company so much maybe the attraction on both sides will cool.  It does also mean Tane won't have to vacate the premises every night.?

Problem with Willow and Bella moving in as well would mean there would be three of them in on The Secret and awkward conversations which they would have to shut down when Mac appeared and the danger of her overhearing something she shouldn't.  As far as the Parata's and Mac are concerned Bella ran away because she didn't want to talk about her dad's death to Angelo as it would be bringing up bad memories of that day, nothing else.  Did chuckle when Mac made reference to no men bursting into the bathroom.

I thought it was only Ryder Marilyn was  trying to keep in the Diner as she had a good idea of what Roo was planning and she didn't want them being disturbed - if you get my drift.   It was amusing and rather sweet  Ryder giving Owen The Talk about Owen not hurting Roo.  You didn't need to be a genius to work out that Roo was definitely on a high and Marilyn was delightfully shocked.

Nice little chat between John and Marilyn, they came across as being comfortable in each others company and good to get an update on how Jett is doing.

The reason why people say Mac has been dominated by men is because she's not been single since she joined. She got with Colby early on, then despite them being broke up still wanted him and got with Ari to get over him then crushed on Tane whilst casually sleeping with Ari. Then when her and Ari turn serious she follows Tane around despite him telling her numerous times to stay away from him. She's moved out for both their sakes. We've had Mac for over a year but apart from her revenge story when she first joined and getting to know Dean all her stories revolve around her love life. A lot of people dislike her now and the pairing with Ari isn't overly popular. I think she needs a story away from her love life and a story for herself.

Mac hasn't been dominated by men as in being controlled but her storylines have, her struggle with her dad, uniting with Dean, her on-off-on and finally off relationship with Colby, the game playing with Ari and Colby, now Ari  and on the side lines Tane.  Has she a close female friend apart from Willow?  I do like her with Ari though so not one of the ' a lot of people'.

Mac is friends with Ziggy.   I like their friendship a lot, it feels natural and not forced, maybe it's because Sophie/Emily socialise a lot IRL and get on so well that their scenes just to me come across that way.

I like Mac/Ari together too.

But is Mac really close to Willow and Ziggy? Tbh I never got that impression. Most of their scenes/ conversations/ storylines were based around Dean, Bella and Colby. They never (not that I remember) had girly scene like Roo/Marilyn or Leah/Tori have. It was always about 'the family' - Mac trying to get back together with Colby, Willow advising Mac how to deal with Bella, all Dean's issues, etc.

It's always been Willow, Dean, Colby and Bella and Ziggy lately (since she moved in with Dean). Mac never got to be part of that group even though she is Dean's sister and was Colby's girlfriend. Like when Willow celebrated promotion or Ziggy had divorce party she wasn't invited even though she was there both nights. I think the writers should make an effort to develop friendships like they used to.

Maybe Mac and Ziggy will become close now that they live together, they have good chemistry.

I like Mac and Ari too.

The Paratas adopted a policy of "Don't ask questions about us and we won't ask questions about you" as far as Colby was concerned, although now that there's a rift between Colby and Bella, they're starting to suspect there's more to it.I only suggested Bella moving in with Ziggy and Mackenzie because things are getting untenable with her living with Colby, I don't think moving in with Nikau is a good idea, and I don't think living with Irene did her any good, so I think that's the best option for her.No need for Willow to move in as well, she's doing fine with Irene and Jasmine. As for "the secret", Ziggy doesn't even know that Bella knows.

Tane came over well here, doing his best to sort out the problems between Ari and Mackenzie.I'm not sure whether I agree with Ari or not.I can understand him not liking Mackenzie keeping things from him, but when he said they should have talked about it, I was left wondering what good that would have done: They'd probably be where they are now.Mack moving out so they're not all living on top of each other seems like a sensible solution.

I'm getting more and more tired of Colby and seriously hoping he gets caught soon. He's not just manipulating Taylor now, he's manipulating everyone.Bella and Willow really need to open their eyes: I was bewildered that they actually believed his latest session of lies about Taylor.I think Bella was smart in not confronting him when she discovered the truth because he was never going to listen, but then the promo suggests she does that anyway. He's not just with Taylor for information now, he's actually getting off on pulling the wool over everyone's eyes with increasingly risky behaviour. It's like he's addicted to getting away with things.

Well, it's not like Dean or Bella's gonna climb up on the diner roof anytime soon  and yell out "Colby Thorne is a murdereeeeeeeer!"through a megaphone anytime soon, are they??

They're gonna milk this as much as they can with Colby doing the whole "I am Invincible!" before the hammer blow.

Damn, I didn't think I would find someone as punchable as Hunter or Andy, but Colby fits right in. I mean, I already didn't like him and I really couldn't stand his scenes with Bella last year acting as if he's best for her when the best thing for Bella is to get at least a hundred miles away from him, and he was just despicably manipulative with Taylor, but now he's just plain despicable. He keeps on bragging how he's protecting his 'family' when all he does is think about himself, when he's the one who's gotten all of them into this (I know Dean was involved and that shouldn't be ignored, but at least Dean is showing some standards). I don't even know if he knows what his endgame is with Taylor or if he's just continuing it just to have a go at Angelo. Just by his arrogant behaviour recently I would say it's the later. He basically guilt-tripped Bella into leaving his relationship with Taylor alone by saying she's never on his side, (oh yeah Colby, like you've done so much for her?), and outright threatens Ziggy with Dean, with Colby fully aware of how Ziggy still cares for Dean. I was honestly hoping Ziggy would have slapped him in his smug face (no worse than what he did to Dean before). I think one of the worst things about this is that only now Willow and Dean have really woken up to the kind of person Colby actually is. I would wonder why exactly Bella was walking in the middle of the night just to come across Colby and Taylor but I'm just glad she caught him. I actually rather enjoyed her toying with Colby, acting as if she doesn't know he lied to her again, but

Spoiler

by the looks of the promo it's looks like he's going to guilt-trip/threaten/frighten her again!?

The sooner he gets caught, the better it will be for all involved, especially Bella.

I guess that makes sense in terms of story, but it doesn't help that Thorne is really getting hard to watch (I mean, I already found him rather unlikeable last year too, but now it's somehow worse).
