I can't verify for this for a fact, but I do remember hearing or reading somewhere that Irene was born in approximately 1953 which would have made her 37-38 in 1991. OK, Sal being 12 would be old enough to know better than to take something that's NOT hers w/o asking but it doesn't in ANY way excuse Soph slapping her.
