Why in the UK do we have 2 breaks for H&A. The first is understandable due to the Christmas break but why do they have one during mod August to mid September?

It's all about the money - viewing figures are lower in August during our school summer holidays, so instead of taking a two-month break over Christmas (like Oz), they split it up into two one-month breaks and have one of them at a more financially viable period.

Reading the location section on here it would appear that one of the actual houses used for the outdoor shots has three bedrooms but it says the on-screen house is different so it must be four. On another forum someone said that Tasha had a bedroom upstairs when she lived there and Irene. It's only because recently we saw Spencer and Chris sharing which they wouldn't need to do if there were four bedrooms?

It used to be four but apparently it's three nowadays.I mentioned in the UK thread a few weeks back that for the sake of sanity I'm assuming the fourth bedroom has been turned into something else but it's never been made clear on screen.I don't think all the bedrooms have been in use since about 2010/2011.
