Homeandawayfan.
What about Pippa Ross? I think she wed Tom in about 1969 so much be born about 1950. Debra Lawrence was born in 1957 so Pippa must be older than the second actress to play her.

CaptainHulk
^ Again with the continuity. One source says they were married in 69, another '75 and '73.
Homeandawayfan.
Does H&A have an archivist? I dont think it did in the early years but not sure now. I think H&A is better at continuity than Neighbours with backstory.

I think H&A is better at continuity than Neighbours with backstory. Nope, when the 25th anniversary magazine was being compiled I had to act as their Archival Copy Editor as there wasn't anyone left at Seven who had enough historic knowledge - it's understandable with the turnover of staff, and obviously if their predecessors didn't think to note down all those tiny tidbits over the 25 years (hindsight is a wonderful thing) then it does make it almost impossible to stay consistent. Homeandawayfan.
I think with some characters the continuity has been quite consistent but others not so. I think many birthdays are quite consistent. They must have some files on characters if not archivists. If a characters age has only been mentioned once then use that. Homeandawayfan.
Walter Bertram was said in 1988 to be retiring next year by Flathead. He looked about 60ish by 1988 so I'd day he was to turn 60 or 65 in 1989.
Jezz
The actor who played Walter was born in 1921 and eventually passed away in 2002. So it's fair to say that the character would have been a similar age to the actor in the late 1980s.
