I love music Posted February 5, 2009 Author Report Share Posted February 5, 2009 Oliver was so natural with Kane when he and Kirsty visited him in the hospital, you'd have thought he really was his Dad! I've noticed he always seems very relaxed and happy in scenes with Sam Atwell. I wonder if he already knew him before H&A, maybe his parents being friends with the actor or something? I know he's pretty much relaxed with everyone but with Kane (Sam Atwell) there definitely seems to be a connection. Whatever, well done, casting department! I can't believe how amazing his acting (if I can call it that because unfortunately, he doesn't have that many lines) is seeing that he is so young. His scenes with Kirsty and especially Kane are always nice to watch. They are so close. You would almost believe that Sam and Christie are his real parents. He looks comfortable around the other actors too. There is another thing that amazes me. Usually, when a young child is playing a scene, you can often see them look towards a certain place (usually next to the camera) where I suppose there is someone telling and/or showing them what to do but I don't recall seeing Ollie do that. Maybe in one of the first episodes he appeared in but I haven't noticed it lately or it isn't as obvious as other child actors. Or maybe it's just me.
