Extended Summary

Gypsy’s been suspended from the DIC until further notice. Apparently Jodie’s father left years ago and the girl’s been misbehaving ever since. Shelley said that even though Gypsy’s heart was in the right place, the fact that she didn’t listen showed a lack of objectivity.

Sally has spoken to Fisher about her concerns regarding Seb’s reading ability. Fisher went to see Anna, who said Seb is bright but tends to mix things up. He does have problems reading. Sally asked Seb to stay back and do a basic skills test, but he argued that he could read and didn’t need to. Sally is unsure what do but but doesn’t want to make the same mistake Gypsy did.

However Anna has been more interested to learn about Fisher and what he’d be like as a father. Shelley’s been trying to talk some sense into Seb regarding accommodation. Even Jude’s offered a bed at his place until things work out. At least Seb accepted the offer and is helping Jude with the cleaning.

Sally spoke to Shauna about Duncan because she didn’t want to worry Alf. Shauna told her Duncan yelled at her and told her she wasn’t even Ailsa’s real daughter. He was going out to dinner with Morag and Alf knew nothing about it. What is his problem? Now Fisher’s not allowing Morag to see him, and Alf sure as heck isn’t. Things are going to get ugly very soon!

Hayley and Will are organising a portrait of the Smith family: Nick, Irene and Ken, to give to Irene, to cheer her up. She certainly will need it after the spell that Duncan gave her that was enough to make her cry.
