poor angel...

Spoiler

but knowing she recovers and ends up walking down the aisle for her wedding makes it less upsetting to watch this storyline the second time around.  How long until the big wedding?

I wonder where this hospital is, and how far it is from summer bay?  everyone seems to be able to drop in fairly easily so it doesn't seem to be far. I would have thought if there was any risk of spinal injuries transfer to a larger specialised center in the city would have happened.  Her son Dylan doesn't seem to have made an appearance for a long time either.

I just can't warm to Donna either, I find her manner somewhat bland and non expressive.  Glad Shannon finally worked out who her abuser was to work on some closure, pity he isn't alive so he can be punished for what he did, put in jail and the key thrown away (or a few other things which may be a fitting punishment which are unmentionable), dirty mongrel.:angry2:  then again its probably better for her that he is dead.

Jack and Curtis is a nice bromance as well to add to the list.

poor Sally just never seems to have a best friend, and always seems to be on her own in that department.

I think it's called Northern Districts Hospital and with Yabbie Creek being supposedly the main town, it's probably in or near there. Although it might be in the countryside somewhere between YC and Summer Bay which makes it so easily accessible for our characters.

Sally is still the loner she was last year and the year before etc... but as 1995 progresses I think they try and wedge her into the Shannon/Selina friendship.

It's been established the Hospital and Police station are in Yabbie Creek as well as the Train Station. They just seem closer in the modern product!

Closest thing to besties Sal had down the years were Chloe (Class of '97 due to Circumstances) and Leah (Locked lips with the same blokes, shared a house, etc) She and Shannon, while foster sisters who shared a room, weren't as tight as the Shannon/Selina dynamic.

Incidentally, Sal and Selina of all people share a short in the 1996 titles helping that bloke with that big-ass surfboard :D

Sam sending Selina the Valentine's card. What a cute kid!

I wish I had kids paying me that sort of attention when I was that age.

That was some kind of sick joke. Little samantha is far too young to be getting into trouble with girls (regardless of age). "He" is only just out of "his" nappies. How ridiculous can you get. You can't have children that young doing adult stuff like that, it's DISGUSTING

Oh, come on - that's a little bit over-the-top isn't it? I once gave a Valentine's card to a girl when I was 7 (she was 14) and she thought it was incredibly cute, and she gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek... And then she played hide-and-seek with me and my young friends...

Knowing that

Angel walks again

I'm totally on Alf's side. People keep having a go at Shane because he's treating Alf like dirt. Glad Ailsa kicked him out of the diner and Rob had a go at him too. Everyone loves and respects Alf in the Bay and IT WAS AN ACCIDENT. Even Angel said it was and Shane's acting his bratty childish self again.

I really like Shannon and Selina's friendship. They are total opposites but you know what they say-opposites attract. Selina's been a good friend to Shannon once they got over fighting over Curtis.

And once again Jack falls for an older woman. I had wanted him to have a crush on Irene and she finds out. It would have been funny lol (because he was so checking her out that time when he was trying to find out who the newspaper stealer was). He seems to have a thing for older blondes. :P
