  1. Hey I'm not saying unkind things about Shane Parish (the real Shane Parish, not the female baby called "Shane"). I don't know where you got the idea I was badmouthing him. He was one of the main reasons why I started watching Home And Away in 1992. I watched him go from someone who had a blood feud against Ryan, to being the victim of Tug's cruel setup, before rising through the ranks and getting together with Angel Brooks. He and Tug even made up eventually, and that was when even I found Tug to be a likeable character. Hell, he even tried to help Tug when he crashed Roxy's car. RIP Shane Parish 1976–1996. Much-loved husband of Angel. Father of Dylan.
  2. Who says John is a boy's name? Who says Adam is a boy's name? I could go on all day.......
  3. It was a mistake making the baby a girl and also giving it a boy's name
  4. Miss Cherry, the disgusting games he played with Rachel (a little girl far too young to be considered his "girlfriend" or to be involved in any sexual games, I mean come on......YUCK). Jesse was a glorified car thief and other criminal, who Selina put up on a pedestal. I also don't like what he did to Shannon when she was having her nightmares and vomiting in Mr Fisher's car.
  5. Jesse McGregor, and what a ........ he was Shane was the only "poster boy" I liked. I distinctly remember how the girls drooled all over Jesse, and it was disgusting
  6. Can these threads be merged, Dan F?
  7. The founder of Mushroom Records, the label under which a lot of the music that played on the Diner's jukebox, on radio 2SB, in musical montages, etc. has died, aged 68. Source: https://www.abc.net.au/news/2021-03-02/michael-gudinski-dead-age-68-mushroom-records/13206284
  8. You can't "recast" anybody! They will be detected as FAKES, I mean look at "Pippa". She was a prime example of that. And Roo. Another fake with no resemblance to the real one.
  9. That's the thing ya see.......How do we get to keep these episodes? They can't just pull the plug on them whenever they feel like it so we can't watch the episodes
  10. That is so ridiculous! Who makes these stupid rules?
  11. They had plenty of chances to speak, like when Bobby thanks the muted girl who forgot to say "that's alright, have a good day" or the muted old woman in Alf's store that Marilyn greets with an innocent "hello" and she doesn't even say "hi" back. I swear the cat has got their tongues
  12. What does OTP mean, Off The Planet?
  13. The flamin' time bomb continues to tick.......
  14. Locations question: In the 1991-92 cliffhanger episodes, Adam and Blake asked Josh to drive them to a place called "Rocky Point", a location they said was "100km up the coast" and would take 3 hours (2 hours with Josh's driving). The credits at the end of Episode 910 thank the NSW National Parks & Wildlife Service for their assistance in the production of that episodes. What is the actual location these scenes were filmed at?
  15. Yes, his brother did seem to appeal more to the writers from what it looks like to me, but it was quite a while between when Loo left (Sept. 1992) and when Nick left (mid-94)
  16. Why didn't the writers pair Nick up with anyone else after he and Loo broke up?
  17. You haven't given us an example of this. I did give an example where the adult is right and the child is wrong (ie. Alf trying to stamp out Karen and "Revhead"). You need to give an example of your case, ie. when the child was right and the adult was wrong.
  18. What do you mean? You said teenagers can get to say they are right nowadays when they couldn't back in the old days.
  19. Oh, so that's why teenagers can take drugs and think they are right, they can do it, even when adults say no, that is wrong. I mean ....... the drug-testing at festivals gives them a legal back door to taking illegal substances in, because regardless of whether the substance is illegal, they can keep it and use it, so long as the tests find no dangerous contaminants. Sorry, I don't accept that. Respect for elders has gone out the window these days. Furthermore, Karen is really, really convinced that she is right to go out with Revhead and live with him, but in fact Alf and Alsa (her olds) are actually right, because they can see he is a bad influence on her, but Karen just thinks he's just a victim of circumstance, and no matter how many robberies he pulls off, he will get better with her help. Sorry. Wrong. But with age comes experience. Older people have more life experience than young people, and as such have a better idea of knowing right from wrong.
  20. Ref: Episodes around 810 Why do Hayden and Marilyn have to worry about what their mates think? Is there some unwritten rule somewhere that says "thou shalt not date an older woman"?? but it's OK (even encouraged) for older guys to date younger girls??
  21. Someone said here it involved some expense changing the opening titles, which was why it was a while between changes there. As for the closing credits, Prisoner (1979–1986) goofed up the closing credits a lot, as noted on a site dedicated to that show, hence the UNCREDITED lists appearing in many of the episodes listed on that site. I notice "Christopher" got credited in the closing titles a lot even though he never said a word. But some customers, like in Alf's store or the Diner, and some police officers, like the ones accompanying the ones that do get credited, don't get mentioned in the closing credits.
  22. It has been a while since the administrators/owners of this website have heard from the Content Rights & Distribution at the Seven Network, as noted on the main site's article about the cancellation of the 7TWO repeat run at Episode 1880. I note a lot of people have been asking questions as to when or if they are going to resume the repeat run, starting at Episode 1881, and the claims about the number of plays allowed for those episodes as quoted in what Dan F was officially told, don't really seem to hold water. Episodes beyond 1880 have appeared on the Seven Network's own official website, in "Births, Deaths & Marriages" (eg. Michael's death) and "Most shocking moments" (eg. Alex's blinding bomb blast). Are the people in charge, as mentioned in the articles published on the main site, going to allow us to see the rest of the series because it's getting on to 2 years since the last update.
  23. Why do they credit only some extras but not others?
  24. I don't have Twitter or Instagram accounts, but that sounds like a good idea!
