Darryl 'Brax' Braxton - Steve Peacocke

I think Brax is selfish and perhaps also a bit deluded. His moral compass is completely out of whack but he's convinced he's the hero because he's doing it for his family. His loyalty towards other is hit and miss: He's willing to throw the River Boys under the bus whenever it suits him and later seems only interested in them when he needs something.Even Heath didn't seem worthy of his protection in the early days, although that changed when Heath became a family man.

Brax was responsible for what happened to Casey.Yes, Heath started the feud with the Pirovics, but Brax was the one who led the family down that path before him and then left Heath to his own devices. And Brax did everything to escalate it.He was the reason Casey went in, and he was the one who charged in trying to be a hero, haranguing Casey for thinking for himself instead of letting him get to safety, and provoking Jake into opening fire.Ricky and Nate are no saints, and are a bit unlikable at times, but they're still better role models and guardians for Baby Casey than Brax is.Ricky did some bad stuff three years ago, then tried to get on the straight and narrow for the sake of her family.Brax just keeps on going back there and expecting there to be no consequences. If he ever gets Baby Casey back, he'll go the same way as his namesake, looking up to Brax and taking his lead from him and gradually being dragged into that world and being put in danger. If Ricky actually cares about her son, she'll keep him out of it.

Am i the only one that thinks it wasn't explained for example why would the police be suddenly looking for Sam? When they believed brax did it? If brax got cleared where is his sentence for faking his death? Why has Kat not mentioned it? So many questions needed to be answered.

Apparently a book was in the works/released about the events of Brax and Ricky after their departure. However ever since I first heard about it, I haven't heard of it since?

Well the first that was heard about it was indeed when it was released, so it's just a case that no-one's really brought it up in discussion if they did read it.
