Adelle2008 Posted October 31, 2008 Report Share Posted October 31, 2008 Chapter 5 Belle getting drunk reminded Aden of the time he had climbed through her window when he got drunk, after his father was admitted to hospital. ___________________________________________________________ “Aden, what are you doing in here, get out!” Aden tried to leap on the end of the bed but missed and fell on Belle’s floor. “I’m soo wasted” Belle didn’t quiet know how to react at the time; this was when she had started to develop a crush on him. “Hey who moved the bed?” Aden realizing he missed the bed. __________________________________________________________ By the time Aden woke up from sleeping on the couch Belle had left. “Morning mate, sleep well” Aden sat up rubbing his eyes. His back was aching the couch hadn’t been the most conformable place to sleep. “Yeah---” “Oh, you’re down here are you? I was wondering where you had gotten to--” Nicole walked downstairs. Roman made his way into the kitchen. “What didn’t you want to sleep with Belle last night?” she teased. “Mind your own business for once will ya!” Nicole was starting to get on his nerves; she was always asking or commenting on Belle. Whenever her name was mentioned Aden felt depressed. {Beach House} “Oh morning love, did you sleep over Angelo’s last night” Irene was in a cheerful moody, she had been preparing food for the year 12 formal. Belle didn’t take pleasure in lying to Irene, “Actually, I think I might jump in the shower” She rushed passed trying to avoid the subject. “Okay darl” {Diner} “All I’m saying is kids these days would appreciate a variety of music at the formal” “Strike me flamin’ crow woman, they don’t want to listen to the music from the 70’s”. “I was only thinking in the best interest of the students” “Do us all a favour Colleen and do what you don’t do best and be quiet” “Alright then, I’ll just go and help Leah in the kitchen maybe she will be grateful for my help” Aden and Roman was watching Colleen and Alf argue all morning, they found it very entertaining. “Here mate, grab this” Roman passed a platter of sandwiches to Aden. “Got it” “Thanks mate, for helping out I know you’re still tired after all that studying” “Nah, its fine, take my mind off things” “Like Belle” Nicole popped behind him. “Nicole shut up, I’m over Belle alright! She was just a wasted of time!” Aden said angrily. Everything went silence, everybody including Belle who just turned up, had heard what he said. Belle was shaken and began to shed tears. Belle ran out of the diner as fast as she could. Irene gave Aden a sinister look. “Aden…maybe you should apologize” Roman said in an alarmed voice. “No, I meant what I said!” Aden was still furious. Unexpectedly, a loud screech came from outside. “Oh my goodness” Irene exclaimed. Irene, Roman and Alf ran outside only to find Belle lying on the road. She had been hit by a white car, with a familiar face inside. “Oh my god Belle, Belle love can you hear me?” Irene tried to wake her up. “Quick, call an ambulance” Roman shrieked. Romans mobile had no battery life left, he swiftly ran back inside the diner. “Quick, Call an ambulance Belle’s been hit by a car” Aden was shattered. “What is she alright?” he said as he ran outside. “Oh my god” he whispered to himself. “No, Belle” a tear fell down his cheek. Belle remained unconscious on the road. Aden grabbed Belle’s hand. “It’s okay, it’s going to be okay” he stroked her hair. Lights flashed, sirens were deafening, and paramedics circled the stretcher. Aden desperately followed her being rushed through several doors. He however wasn’t allowed in the operating room, all he could do was wait. “Oh my god, what have I done?” he walked up and down the corridor. “I’m sure she’ll be fine” Roman said in a comforting voice. “No, Roman I told her that she was a waste of time! And she’s not!” “She knows you didn’t mean that” “No she doesn’t” “Well, you let her stay in her bed last night; I think she knows you care about her” Aden felt embarrassed. How did he know she had stayed the night? “It doesn’t matter whether I let her stay in my bed or not, I didn’t get the chance to let her how much I love her” Irene had heard what Aden said and was feeling slightly sympathic. He looked at Irene and then Roman “I love her guys; I always have and always will. I just wish I had the opportunity to tell her that” Angelo arrived with a large bunch of flowers. Aden glared at him. “Belle’s regained consciousness” One of the nurses came out. “Help, Aden, Help me” Belle said in a terrified voice. Her eyes were closed. Aden watched Belle toss her head from side to side. “Aden! Aden!” Angelo, Roman and Irene watched Belle. Aden moved closer to the bed. “It’s okay, I’m here, Shhh” “I’m scared, please don’t leave me” her eyes were still closed. Angelo eyes were focused on Belle then Aden. All of a sudden Belle opened her eyes. “Irene” Belle said with a tear running the side of her face. “It’s alright love, we’re here” After Angelo left the hospital, Aden entered the room. “Hey how are you?” he said gently. Belle grabbed his hand. “I’m alright now you’re here” “Listen Belle I didn’t mean to say that you were a waste of time, I love you” “I know I love you too” she whispered. Adelle2008 Posted October 31, 2008 Report Share Posted October 31, 2008 Chapter 6 Three weeks later. {Romans} It was around lunch when Aden got the call. “Hey Aden it’s me” “Belle, hi” “HI, I just wanted to tell you something, I wasn’t sure if I should tell you over the phone or in person” “What is it about?” “Angelo” “What about him” “We…we broke up” Aden was shocked, but also thrilled, trying to keep his joy contained Aden replied, “Okay, cool” “Yeah, so maybe you and I can hang out again?” “Sure, but not today I’m busy” “Alright, talk to you later” “Yesssssssss!” Aden’s face lit up, flashing the biggest smile at Roman. “What’s up?” “Belle and Angelo have broken up” After many successful weeks of Aden and Belle’s relationship, he decided that he couldn’t risk losing Belle again and wanted her to stay in his life permanently. He thought the beach was the perfect place to ask Belle to marry him. “It’s such a beautiful afternoon” “Yes it is” “So what did you want to talk to me about?” Belle said inquisitively. “Umm…well …” Aden heart raced, butterflies were fluttering in his stomach not to mention his hands were sweating. Why would she want to marry me? She deserves someone better. She’s only with me because she feels sorry for me. These thoughts made Aden anxious. “Ahhh, I was wondering if you wanted to go away for the holidays that’s all” “Anyway, I got to go, bye” Aden kissed her lips and walked away quickly.
