I know that it was only Carly who he abused, but I would have thought that if he was deemed an unfit father to one child, both would be taken away. Yeah, you've basically answered your own question.Don't know how realistic it is or if it'd be more likely to happen in the '80s than now but I suppose the thinking was Samantha wasn't in danger from him and was happy to stay where she was so they left her there. Ryan Posted February 3, 2011 Report Share Posted February 3, 2011 In the Frank Morgan Story book that was released in the 80's (so probably not strictly canon), Frank's parents names are given as Les and Helena, Helena's maiden name Niarchos, with her parents being Spiro and Maria, thus that's where the Greek came from. I guess with no kids around and no family, she had become lonely and isolated. With nothing but Alan's book for company, in which he talked about how bad Don was to him, things got a bit twisted in her mind.
