Rocco and Cassie are walking hand in hand.

CASSIE:

Can you believe this is all finally over?

ROCCO:

No! I keep waiting for the next bad thing to happen. It feels so unreal.

CASSIE:

Well I have news for you - life is good and it's going to stay that way.

ROCCO:

I hope so...

CASSIE:

Come on, be positive!

ROCCO:

I'll try, okay little miss Sunshine?

CASSIE:

Okay.

They kiss.

CASSIE:

Come on, let's go for a swim!

ROCCO;

Okay!

IN THE HOSPITAL

Fitzy is lying with her eyes closed, Jack is sitting next to her.

JACK:

I have to go.

FITZY:

No, I don't want you to leave.

JACK:

But you have to get rest! I'll be back later tonight, I promise.

FITZY:

Okay.

He kisses her softly.

JACK:

See you later.

He leaves, Fitzy smiles happily.

ON THE BEACH

RIC:

How sure are you?

MATILDA:

I didn't test myself yet... but I researched the symptoms and I have a lot of them. Like I'm sick in the mornings, I'm dizzy and tired the whole time... I'm scared Ric.

RIC:

It's barely been a week... Isn't it a little early to get symptoms?

MATILDA:

I don't know! What am I going to do, Ric?

RIC:

Okay, first of all your question should be what are WE going to do. And we are going to wait until we know for sure, okay? Maybe it's just a bug.

MATILDA:

Yeah.

RIC:

Hey. Come here.

She moves closer and he holds her.

RIC:

We'll deal with this, okay?

DAN AND LEAH'S

Sally, Dan, Leah and Peter are sitting in the living room. Pippa is sitting on Peter's lap.

SALLY:

And here I thought Peter was still in love with you!

DAN:

Never! I'm a much better catch, don't you think Leah?

LEAH:

For sure.

SALLY:

Oh no way!

PETER:

Thank you, Sal. I agree with you.

He leans over to kiss her quickly and Dan makes a face.

PETER:

I saw that!

They all laugh.

LEAH:

Okay, if you don't mind, guys - I'm going to lie down for a bit.

SALLY:

Sure.

Dan puts his arm around her and they walk to the room slowly.

Peter puts Pippa down next to him and looks at Sally.

PETER:

You really thought I was in love with Leah?

SALLY:

Yes!

He laughs and leans in to kiss her. Dan comes out.

DAN:

Can I offer you a room?

Sally pulls away and Peter laughs.

PETER:

No, we've got to go anyway. Pippa is going to fall asleep any minute.

Peter and Sally stands up, Peter picks Pippa up. They greet Dan and leave.

FLETCHER HOUSE.

The doorbell rings and Martha opens it. It's Rachel.

MARTHA:

Hey Rache.

RACHEL:

Can I come in?

MARTHA:

Sure.

RACHEL:

Look, Martha... I don't know to say this...

MARTHA:

It's about Jack, isn't it?

RACHEL:

Yeah.

MARTHA:

It's all right. I know he's in love with Fitzy.

RACHEL:

You know?

MARTHA:

I heard Sal and Peter talking about it.

RACHEL:

Are you okay?

MARTHA:

Yeah, I'm fine. I hope they'll be happy.

RACHEL:

Look if you want to talk about this...

MARTHA:

I don't. I'll see you around.

RACHEL:

Sure.

She leaves and Martha sits down on the couch.

IN THE HOSPITAL

Jack enters, he sees Rachel.

JACK:

Hey Rache.

RACHEL:

Oh, hi, Jack! Are you here to pick up Lara?

JACK:

Yeah, I'm taking my girl home! So are you back in the Bay for good?

RACHEL:

Yeah, I decided that the city wasn't for me. I missed Summer Bay too much.

JACK:

Good. Because Summer Bay missed you too.

RACHEL:

Thanks. Take care of the patient now!

JACK:

Oh believe me, I will!

He enters Fitzy's room. She is sitting upright in the hospital bed, smiling happily.

FITZY:

Hey!

JACK:

Hey, beautiful. I'm finally taking you home!

FITZY:

Great, this hospital food is really getting me down.

JACK:

Well, from now on I'm cooking for you.

FITZY:

You know, on second thought, maybe I should stay here longer.

JACK:

Very funny! You ready?

FITZY:

Yeah.

He helps her out of the bed and they walk out of the room.

FLETCHER HOUSE.

Sally and Peter are sitting on the couch, kissing. Peter's hand is playing with Sally's hair and his other arm is around her waist. Sally pulls away when the door opens, but Peter pulls her back in to the embrace and smiles at her.

PETER:

You embarrased about kissing me?

SALLY:

No!

PETER:

You pulled away.

SALLY:

The door opened!

PETER:

So?

Ric and Matilda enter, but Peter kisses Sally again and getting lost in the kiss, she doesn't see them.

They (Ric/Mattie) head up to Ric's room.

IN RIC'S ROOM

RIC:

Okay... so...

MATILDA:

I'll just go to the bathroom and then we wait.

RIC:

How long?

MATILDA:

It says two minutes. One line is negative, two is positive.

RIC:

Okay... you ready?

MATILDA:

Yeah... I'll be right back.

RIC:

Mattie... I want to be with you when you check the results.

MATILDA:

Thanks. I'd like that.

ON THE BEACH

Cassie and Rocco sit down next to each other and he puts his arm around her shoulders.

ROCCO:

I could just sit here forever.

CASSIE:

Me too.

He kisses her cheek and she leans her head against his chest.

ROCCO:

Cas...

CASSIE:

Yeah?

ROCCO:

I've done some things in the past that I think you should know of.

CASSIE:

Why? The past is in the past. Leave it there. Whatever mistakes you made... it's not going to change how I feel about you.

ROCCO:

So you don't care what I've done?

CASSIE:

All that matters to me is the guy you are now.

ROCCO:

I must have done something right somewhere in my life.

He leans to kiss her, but before he can he hears a whistle.

ROCCO:

Did you hear that?

CASSIE:

Yeah, someone just whisteled...

ROCCO:

Let's go.

CASSIE:

What? Why?

He grabs her hand and starts running until they reach the Fletcher house. He sits down at the front door and Cassie sits down next to him.

ROCCO:

They're never going to leave me alone.

RIC'S ROOM;

Mattie and Ric are sitting on the bed. The test is lying on the desk.

RIC:

Can we check yet?

MATILDA:

You know, let's wait for another few minutes.

RIC:

Mattie... the sooner we check, the sooner we'll know.

MATILDA:

Exactly.

RIC:

Fine, you don't want to check, I will.

He stands up, picks up the test, looks at it and puts it down again.

MATILDA:

What does it say?

RIC:

I thought you didn't want to know.

MATILDA:

Ric!

He shows her the test and she frowns.

MATILDA:

What? This is impossible!
