Thanks a lot for the feedback, guys! I got your hint, Roccoluver! Lol!

Yay an update, awesome you got my hint, I worried I was being too subtle, Great chapter, you need to post soon, what's happening with Leah, why did Matilda run out of class, will Cassie be able to keep the class quiet, why did Sally call Peter and not the hospital, so many questions and now I have to go to school :)

1. - Wait and see

2. - Ha ha ha wouldn't you like to know

3. - Yeah, no problems in the class I think.

4. - Because Peter is the first person she could think of and I wanted her to call him

Have a nice day at school!

Thanks for the comments and reading everyone!

SUMMER BAY HIGH - IN THE BATHROOM

Matilda is in the toilet throwing up. When she comes out, Emma is standing in the bathroom.

EMMA:

Are you okay?

MATILDA:

I don't know what's going on, I keep throwing up for no reason!

EMMA:

No reason?

MATILDA:

Yeah.

EMMA:

Do you want me to take you to the doctor?

MATILDA:

I'll ask Tony to take me later today.

EMMA:

Tony?

MATILDA:

Oh, yeah... Mr Holden. He's my guardian.

EMMA:

I see. Have you got any other symptoms?

MATILDA;

Not really. I just feel awful.

EMMA:

Well, I think you should go to the doctor right away and go home. Get some rest.

MATILDA:

Thank you, Miss Smith.

EMMA:

Anytime. Come, we can both look for Tony then he can take you now. I hope it's nothing serious.

MATILDA:

Yeah, I don't think it is.

They walk out of the bathroom.

IN THE CLASS

Everybody is reading. Belle suddenly looks up from her book.

BELLE:

Why does Cassie have to keep us quiet?

ROCCO:

Because Miss Smith said so, now shut up, I'm trying to read.

BELLE:

Look, I don't...

CASSIE:

Have any need to talk, Belle! Miss Smith is a new teacher and the least we can do is listen to her. Especially with Sally not here. Now just be quiet.

BELLE:

Yes, mam!

LUCAS:

Belle... please?

BELLE:

Fine, I'll be quiet.

She picks up her book again and continues reading.

IN THE HOSPITAL

Sally and Peter are sitting outside Leah's room.

SALLY:

We have to call Dan! I didn't even think of that!

PETER:

Yeah, neither did I. I'll give him a quick ring.

He picks up his phone and dials Dan's number.

Dan... it's Pete. I think you need to come to the hospital. It's Leah. I don't know, mate, but it doesn't look good.

HOSPITAL ROOM

RACHEL:

She's bleeding from the womb, we need to get her into theatre.

JULIE:

What about the baby?

RACHEL:

If we don't operate they are both going to die!

JULIE:

So there is no chance?

RACHEL:

At the moment we have to focus on Leah. She's my biggest concern right now.

JULIE:

I'll get the theatre ready.

Julie runs out and Rachel wipes a strand of hair out of Leah's face.

RACHEL:

It's going to be okay, Leah. You just hang in there. Everything will be fine.

Dan, Peter and Sally are sitting outside when Julie comes out.

DAN:

Where's Leah?

JULIE:

We're just getting ready to get her into theatre. There's some unexplained bleeding from the womb, it looks like the baby might not make it.

DAN:

What about Leah?

JULIE:

I don't know'. Look, the best is to go home and get some rest. You being here isn't going to help.

DAN:

I need to see her.

JULIE:

That would be impossible, I'm sorry. We will call you as soon as she is out of theatre.

She goes away and Dan sits down again, looking crestfallen.

I hope Leah and the baby are ok. Im glad Tony has entered the story, hopefully there will be some good storylines coming up for him. I wonder what is wrong with Matilda, sounds like her pregnancy test was wrong. Look forward to reading more soon.
