*Tries to get that loverly image out of head....* *Gives up... swooning...*

I will update now... But I have a little writers block, trying to get over it. So Im not finished with Part 9 yet.

PART 9

Previously in Summer Bay...

DAN:

She's lying down for a bit. She's not feeling well, especially with this thing with Sally.

RACHEL:

What happened to Sally?

DAN:

Didn't you hear?

RACHEL:

No. Hear what?

DAN:

She's missing.

JACK:

Rocco, wait!

He wants to run after him, but Martha holds him back.

MARTHA:

Don't. He needs to deal with this.

SALLY:

You don't have to be like this. It's not too late to start over, Johnny!

JOHNNY:

Oh really?

He lifts his hand and hits her.

LATER - SAME PLACE.

Fitzy is lying in a corner with her eyes closed and Sally is sitting next to her. They are both beaten up badly...

PETER'S OFFICE

He is talking on the phone.

PETER:

Yeah, let me know if you find anything, mate. No, no leads. I'm going to take a look at the place where she held Sal last time. Bye.

He picks up his jacket and walks out of the office.

FLETCHER HOME.

Ric is sitting on the couch, Mattie is sitting next to him.

RIC:

I can't just sit here. I need to go look for her.

MATILDA:

Don't be silly. It's dangerous.

RIC:

Yeah, but...

MATILDA:

No buts, Ric. Let the police handle this.

RIC:

I love her, Mattie.

MATILDA:

I know.

RIC:

She's my mum.

MATILDA:

I know that, Ric! And I can only imagine what you must be going through, but going and putting yourself out there is only going to make things worse.

RIC:

How can it get any worse?

MATILDA:

Trust me, okay? You do not want to go out there. Besides, you don't even know where to start looking.

RIC:

You're right. I'm sorry for dumping all this on you, Mattie. It's not fair.

MATILDA:

Hey, what are girlfriends for?

They kiss. Matilda pulls away.

MATILDA:

Look, I have to go because I have school in the morning. But I'll call you, okay?

RIC:

Yeah. I love you.

MATILDA:

I love you too.

She stands up and leaves. Ric sits back on the couch and closes his eyes. Cassie enters the living room.

CASSIE:

Hey, Ric have you seen Rocco?

RIC:

No. Martha said that he heard that Johnny escaped and he just took off.

CASSIE:

And everybody just let him go?

She runs out of the house before Ric can answer.

ON THE BEACH.

Cassie is running along the beach.

CASSIE:

Rocco! Rocco are you here?

ROCCO:

Cas?

She jumps when she hears his voice. He is sitting behind a large rock, it is clear that he's been crying. Cassie sits down next to him.

CASSIE:

I heard about Johnny. How are you?

ROCCO:

This is all my fault. I should never have come here.

CASSIE:

Don't say that.

ROCCO:

All I've done is hurt people.

CASSIE:

That's not true! You're a good person. It's not your fault that bad things happen.

ROCCO:

You remind me of Sally.

CASSIE:

Why?

ROCCO:

She also refused to stop believing in me.

They look at each other for a while. Then Rocco leans forward and their lips meet in a tender kiss.

So much has happened since i last read this a couple of days ago. I can't believe that Johnny has hurt Sally. I hope Peter deals with him when he gets his hands on him. I like Rocco and Cassie together. I always thought that they would have made a good couple on the show as well. Look forward to reading an update soon.
