She whispered. "Mmmm." He groaned. "Get up, come on." Martha insisted. "Whats wrong?" Jack asked still half asleep. "Well. You and I slept together, probably woke your dad and brother up, not to mention that I didn't tell the girls that I wouldn't be home." "Ok. Ok." He groaned getting out of bed. ______ "I'll see you later." Martha smiled as she kissed Jack good bye. Jack had just dropped Martha home as he left for work. They decided that they would take things slow to see how things go. The reason being the girls. She knew the girls like Jack especially Kayla but all the same they could change their minds quickley. As Martha opened the door to her apartment she saw Jade, Kayla and her grandad sitting at the table eating breakfast. "Hey mum." Kayla shouted. "Hey girls. Hey grandad." Martha called. "I'm so sorry I should have told you that I was staying the night at Jack's." Martha appologised. "Don't worry. The girls told me, last night." Alf explained. "They did?" Martha asked confused. Alf nodded. "Well listen I better get going. I'll see you girls later." Alf told them as he walked towards the door. "Bye grandad" the girls shouted in unison. When Alf had gone, Martha looked at the girls. "How did you know that I would be staying at Jacks?" Martha asked curiously. The girls both laughed. "Its soo obvious." Jade told her. "And how is that?" Martha asked. "We've seen the way you both look at eachother." Kayla explained. "Well we've decided to take things slow." Martha informed them. "So your going out then?" Kayla asked excitedly. "Yeah. But that does not mean that he's going to give you rides in his car any time you want." "Who said that?" Kayla asked innocently. "Your face says it all." Jade told her. ____ At the station. "Um..Boss do you know whats going on about the Gregg McLin case?" Jack asked. "No. All I know is that court is in a week." "A week?!" Jack exclaimed. "Yes Holden a week. 7 days." McGrath told Jack going into his office. As soon as he had gone Jack took out his phone and punched the holes. "Martha. Yeah we need to talk." ______ "A week?" Martha shook her head. "Yeah. I only just found out." "Jack how am I going to get a good lawer in a week? We're going to have to talk the case through and all. Surely there must be more time." "I'm sorry no. We're going to have to look for a lawer now." "I can help you." A voice came from behind. ___________ Hope you enjoyed it.
