(Oxford Advanced Learner's dictionary, 7th edition) As the Oxford collocations Dictionary does not have it as a collocation, I don't think you can find other words that are so closely conneted to it as it would be colloquialism. Hmmm.. well not sure what it like for you in Aussie? but here in the UK ... as soon as a there is going to be an erm... an house built for people who have mental health probs. the community goes up in arms about and they say they don't want , things like this built on there doorstep... Also the goverment say they are encouraging disabled people to go out and have fun and to work.
