So I did It seems we have a wide variety of people to help the youngins' with there homework when they get stuck! Well in Australia its the summer holidays now (and for another 4 weeks) so I don't think anyone from Aus is going to be needing help but yeah if you have a homework problem we'll all do our best to try solve it! Its Geography! Here is the task: People have differnet views about the rainforest being cleared and used for other purposes. In this assignment you will need to produce 2 short leaflets and a letter in which you include the following items: 1) One leaflet in which you summarise the views of an environmental group on how the rainforest should be used. 2) A second leaflet in which you summarise the views of the Brazilian Government explaining why it may wish to develop the resources of the rainforest. 3) A letter to the Brazilian Government in which you explain your views on how you would balance conservation and exploitation of the Amazon rainforest. You need to explain how you would like to see the rainforest managed in the future. Your leaflet is aimed at the general public. Your letter , you must show that you can reach reasoned conclusions. You could favour the views of a group of CONSERVATIONISTS who are concerned with protecting the environment. You could support the views of A GOVERNMENT OR A MULTINATIONAL COMPANY that is concerned with developing the rainforest to create jobs and wealth. You should also choose a balance, between the two viewpoints. Any help, information would be much appreciated. I have to give in this coursewor by the end of January. These are just suggestions so if you don't think they are right then don't use them Perhaps list some of the basic music genres that have been around for years. Classical, Opera, Soul, Rock & Pop are the most well known ones. The history of Music is a fascinating topic. You could write about how much pop has changed in the last decade. You could write about how the interpretation on what soul music is has changed in the last 40/50 years(listen to some old 50's soul & then take a listen to some of the new stuff). The same goes for rock as well. There are so many different forms of rock music out there now. 1970's Glam Rock 1980's Brit Rock. This also came back in the last 90's with the start of Oasis & Blur. That's just naming two.
