Thanks KittCatt! It is pretty dark. As I've said before, I sometimes wonder where I get these ideas from! Mason is verging on seriously creepy at the moment though and I'm beginning to wonder if that is where the show is headed. Will he end up stalking Evie? That line about killing any guy that she falls for was delivered in a way that suggested there could be trouble ahead. Evie laughed it off but I'm not so sure it was a joke. Attacking Brody might just be the start of it... We'll see. Creepy creepy Mason. I just took it to its extreme. So glad you liked it!

Loved this chapter, Red! Glad Hunter got sentenced to a more sensible term in prison than the show tends to hand out. It's either community service, or 25 years! (or life if you're Roman!) Nothing in between Glad he's talking about counselling and that he's actually showing some remorse for what he's done. Thought Skye's scene with John was nice. I Look forward to where you take this because Skye and Marilyn together might be more bounciness than one house can handle! haha! Enjoyed Chris's bit with Shandi too (getting back on the horse! lol! ) Also happy to see Olivia making the first move towards rehabilitation. Really looking forward to the next chapter x

Very funny that Jett keeps bursting in on April and Xavier's intimate moments. Little but of a peeping Tom, is he?! I was surprised at how frank the conversation between the teens and parents was, but fairplay to them for being fairly mature about it all. Lovely that John and Maz are so concerned about them. Looking forward to the next chapter x

Oh dear! Poor selfish Casey! It wasn't very nice of him to buy himself a video game instead of getting Kyle something. He could have given him the game as a gift and then got to play it himself. Best of both worlds! lol! Now Tamara's gonna break up with him! oops! Enjoyed the relationship between the girls and how much they tease each other. Also liked Maddy's concern for Mr Stewart. Very cute. Wonder what pranks they have planned for the boys? Looking forward to the next chapter! x

Aw, what nice thoughtful presents! Sasha's gift is particularly nice, I'm sure Kyle will be very touched. Loved the hustle and bustle of this scene. Irene certainly has her hands full with the teens in the house! Funny that Sasha thinks Matt should at least make the effort to climb in her window, even if he'd probably break his neck doing it. Looking forward to the next chapter x

Aw, just caught up on the last two chapters! Loved them! Kyle got really lovely thoughtful presents from Ricky and Brax, and it was lovely to see them in such a happy family scene with the pancakes. Enjoyed the little bit about Kyle beginning to open up about his time in foster care. All very sweet. And I absolutely loved this second chapter with Oscar and Evie being annoying siblings. Very well written. It was lovely to have Denny there too and to see that she'd worried about them. Really enjoying this story so far! x p.s. love your descriptions of things i.e. "like a snake wrapping itself around a tree trunk" and in the previous chapter "The smell of chocolate chip pancakes creped its way through the share house like a cat looks for it's next meal" Lovely use of language! Well done!

Great chapter Red! Loved all the interactions as people came to terms with the news about Olivia. Alf is right, it is a flamin' waste! Surprised that Chris hopped into bed with Shandi so quickly but it's probably good that he tries to move on. Loved the 'doctors and doctors' line in the Morgan's scene too, lol! I really enjoy their family scenes in the show so it was nice to see that here too. Also glad to hear that things are working out for Kyle Thought you might bring Skye back. Think Liv has a right to be angry with her although it might help to have her around. She's going to need all the friends she can get right now. Looking forward to the next chapter x

Brax is quite a controlling guardian, isn't he? Not that that's a bad thing necessarily. At least they know he cares about them. Seems Ricky does have him wound round her little finger though, lol! So, theres some 'bad'uns' after poor little Kyle then? Looking forward to seeing how this unfolds

Olivia Fraser Richards - Raechelle Banno

I finally caught up as far as Wednesday's episode last night. I have to say, I am so impressed with this actress. I didn't particularly like her when she first arrived in the show but she's slowly becoming one of my favourites. She has done an absolutely stellar job with this whole bullying storyline, giving an incredibly beautiful and understated performance. They've handled this subject with uncharacteristic care and sensitivity and I think a large part of that has been the actress (and the fact that she works so well with Lynne and Scott) rather than the writing itself. Just excellent. The scene where she was undressing just about broke my heart! It actually left me reeling for a little while. Powerful stuff! I also really enjoyed the quiet little scene with Irene at the bench where she told her about Kirk still being in her head. Again, the whole thing has been so well judged and I think they should all be very proud of themselves. Really looking forward to more Olivia storylines. -
The boys are really cute together! Loved Casey's clumsiness and the teasing they got from the other teens. Three teenage boys in one house?! Sounds like Ricky and Brax have their hands full. The guy spying on them from the bushes is worrying. Sounds like some pretty bad people are after Kyle Looking forward to the next chapter x

Aw, really like the idea of Kyle and Casey as teenagers, especially with Brax and Ricky looking out for them. There's something very sweet about that. Looking forward to seeing the group getting together down at the diner. Great start!

Seems to make up its mind as it goes along. I've posted something nearly 10 hours later and it's insisted on merging the posts, then sometimes it makes separate posts after only half an hour. Seems a bit temperamental. I can't really figure it out.
-
I don't know if you can? I haven't figured that out yet Mine always merge unless someone else comments in between.

Oh wow! I loved this chapter so much! What a beautiful conversation between Kyle and Charlie! Life is life, and no-one gets to choose their circumstances. I loved Charlie's sense of humour about things and the fact that she ruffled his hair at the end. So sweet. Really looking forward to the next chapter x

Amazing chapter, Red! Loved it! Poor Olivia! Very in character that she didn't blame Hunter for her injuries but I imagine that might change now that she knows this is permanent. Hunter might find that Olivia's devotion is a little bit shaken by this. Enjoyed Chris and Shandi's date, although I think this is far too soon for him. The teasing of Brody was pretty funny. Not sure why John is so down on him though. Billie visiting Phoebe was interesting. Please, please, please let Kyle get out soon I imagine he won't be that pleased with Pheebs though. So Billie's considering telling VJ? I guess spending all that time with Irene has her questioning what the right thing is. It's a tough decision. Keeping quiet is hard but people are going to get hurt now if she does come clean. I don't envy her that choice. Looking forward to the next chapter x

Fantastic chapter Really enjoying this. Glad that Leah is okay. It's very true to character that even now she'd be trying to do some damage control on Hunter's behalf. She seems willing to forgive him pretty much anything, even hitting her in the head and trying to kill her! I can understand Zac's feelings on the subject being pretty conflicted. Hunter is his son and he still loves him, but it's getting harder and harder to stand by him. What a little monster. Loved the chats in the hospital between Nate and Tori, and between Irene and Billie. Really nice. Also loved Chris and Shandi's conversation at the diner. Poor Chris. It's a lot to deal with. Looking forward to the next chapter x

What a great chapter, Red! Loved it! Thing is, while they're trying so hard to redeem Hunter in the show at the moment, I could so see this happening. He could flip completely if he thought his freedom was going to be compromised and then a lot of people would probably get hurt, just like this. A little sorry for him that it had to be Liv that got hurt. Chris and Nate's scene was great too. Loved Irene's comment about him being a force of nature, and Nate's embarrassment. Poor little wounded Chris too Interested to see what happens with Shandi. Thanks Red, looking forward to the next chapter x

Ooooh! Interesting! So Hunter's not off the hook just yet then?! (Uncharacteristically competent police work). Really hoping Hunter will go on the rampage before they get the chance to lock him up. Ash has been very lucky to have John on his side. Also interested to see what happens with Shandi. Really looking forward to the next chapter x

You forgot the drumroll, or the 'wah wah' noise!

First impressions are pretty good. She did a really good job with that scene with Justin. I'm feeling optimistic about the show for the first time in a while because it looks like we might actually be getting a new crop of talented young actors. We have Ellie, now Raffy, and I'm hopeful that they might bring in a couple of younger boy characters soon. We need a new teen group and I'm pleased with their casting choices so far

Oh Red, I really wish that you could write for the show! This is just brilliant. You capture the tone of every character just perfectly. I love it. I can hear them when they speak. Well done! Love the atmosphere at Irene's with everyone helping Billie to move in. Glad that Irene isn't being silly about VJ staying and that Olivia hasn't thrown a strop (like I thought she might!) Absolutely loved Hunter's scene with Marilyn. Pretty menacing really and thoroughly understandable that she'd be frightened of him. Psycho Hunter making a reappearance? (I do hope so!) Very kind of John to help Ash out like that. He is a bit of a soft touch really, isn't he? Really pleased that Roo (and we) got a bit of closure as far Maddy's concerned. Good to know that she's doing ok, and looking to the future! And, oooh, so excited that Dex is coming back! Is he moving back to the farmhouse?! Fingers crossed! Really looking forward to the next chapter! x

Oh I loved this chapter, Red. Wish this is how the show could have gone. I'm surprised at Phoebe's selflessness, as I've said before, but I can't argue with her reasoning. She should really give her father a shout though. I'm sure he has access to some dodgy lawyers or a judge or two in his pocket. Probably have her out on a suspended sentence. Fingers crossed that Kyle gets out so. So happy that Billie is moving in with Irene. That house is just the sort of support that she needs. I bet Chris will bend over backwards for her like the gentleman that he is, and Irene is the mother figure that Billie has probably always needed. Although, I imagine it'll just make it that bit harder to keep her secret. Really looking forward to the next chapter. x

Oh such a nice chapter. Really enjoying this story. It's such a pity that Kyle didn't get to tell Heath that he loved him and they never got to have a heart to heart. Also a pity that Heath picked on him as much as he did. Of course, he couldn't have known what Kyle had been through at that stage. He wouldn't have behaved that way if he had. Looking forward to the next chapter. Have a good time while you're away! x

Fantastic chapter Red! I'm glad you didn't do the sensible thing and go to bed, haha! I'm glad things seem to be working out so well for the Morgans too, even if it does mean allowing a mass murderer to walk free (and probably kill again in another country). One rule for some eh? Glad McCarthy could at least see how corrupt the legal system is and show some sense of shame. I'm kinda glad Isla got killed. Couldn't have happened to a nicer person but I was hoping that she might have left a letter confessing to the crime or something. I am incredibly surprised that Phoebe is doing what she's doing, because she's never been known to do anything particularly selfless. I'm also not sure that it would help Kyle that much but I'd much prefer Phoebe to go to prison for something she didn't do, than Kyle to take the fall. Fingers crossed this means his release. Continue to enjoy Billie and VJ in this, really cute. Looking forward to the next chapter x

Oh, such a lovely chapter. Nice little twist that Bianca didn't see Kyle after all. Poor Heath though. Loved the flashback of Kyle's brotherly chat with Casey. I really liked the way he teased him but it was clear that he was only looking out for him. Also the little hint of Kyle's past abuse when he was too scared to stand up against the crazy girl's brother (a hint that Casey missed at the time). The scene with Kyle and Rocco was lovely again, love those two together! Looking forward to the next update x
