  1. Loved Justin and Tori's chat and his 'one last thing' line. Your dialogue is very believable. Glad Hunter's okay too
  2. Really enjoyed that! Loved Brody and Evie's honest conversation. They're very cute together as friends! Hope Hunter's okay
  3. Haha! I'm not sure if honey would act as an antiseptic or have some sort of pickling/ curing effect? I won't be googling that! Haha! I doubt they could reattach it, though they did manage that with John Wayne Bobbit, didn't they? And his was left lying in a field somewhere for hours... so who knows!
  4. Oh I was actually thinking that maybe they just took their uncle's surname when they went into witness protection...That would work Oh yeah, also, I thought this was very much in character, and I suppose it's stuff like this that creeps me out a little... But for your story, I'm just repeating to myself 'assume positive intent, assume positive intent'! haha I am really enjoying this story. So thanks for sharing, Red!
  5. My goodness, there's so much in this chapter it's hard to know where to start! Heath is a pretty quick worker isn't he?! Cutting his losses with Bianca and getting himself set up with his new woman in his old house in one morning! Fairplay to him. He knows how to get things done! I'll give him that! haha! He certainly knows how to make lemonade, doesn't he?! Glad VJ and Billie moving into the farmhouse doesn't seem to be impinging on Dex and Lottie's rampant sex life as yet, although when that baby starts screaming the house down, that might change things a little for everybody! Interesting development with Frank back on the scene, and he's related to the 'Morgans'? I'm trying my best to rewire my brain and see Mason in a more sympathetic light so I guess it's nice that Olivia is moving on and building a relationship with someone new. Cute scene with Tori and the none too subtle clue of the wheelchair abandoned in the livingroom, haha! Also loved the Irene and Chris scene where they said goodbye to April. That was very Irene! 'Buggerluggs!' I also think I just miss Chris a lot so any little glimpse of him makes me happy haha! Looking forward to the next chapter x
  6. What a beautiful chapter, Suzza! You had me tearing up. Poor Kyle! He had such a terrible childhood, and that's a very hard question to answer. Why him? Why do some people have to suffer so much? Glad that Sasha is going to go with Casey and be there for support for him. Loved the letter too, 'my little prince'. His uncle really was pure evil! Looking forward to the next chapter x
  7. Thanks for reading, Red Appreciate the support. x
  8. Thanks Jarlie. Appreciate the feedback as always glad you enjoyed it x
  9. Awe, thanks Bijou! Glad you liked it!
  10. Thanks Kristen and KittCatt! I'm really glad you both enjoyed this story! It was a weird one and a lot longer than I ever intended! Riggins certainly turned out to be pretty nuts, and Mason ended up in the hands of someone possibly even more crazy than him! He's not having a good fortnight, is he?! Getting castrated one week and running into 'Kathy Bates' the next?! Haha! Did I mention that I don't like Mason? lol. Which is why it's really weird that I made Brody suffer so much (because I love him). Mason left a lot of destruction in his wake, and poor Brody will have to live with the consequences of his actions for the rest of his life Might take him a while to trust other people again... Thanks again for the continued support. I really appreciate it x
  11. Thanks Jarlie! Glad you're enjoying it! Leah's really the only person Evie has left now (apart from Brody). Josh, Matt, and Zac are all dead, along with Oscar, Hannah, and Denny. Even Maddy's gone. She has no-one left. I'd like to think that Leah would step in when push came to shove, but I suspect that the current writers would completely ignore the relationship that they used to have, and Leah and Evie would soon be passing each other on the street without even acknowledging each other. Anyway, glad you liked this scene. Gonna try to get the final chapter up tomorrow night! (Sunday morning in Aus / NZ).
  12. Thanks KittCatt! So glad you enjoyed this chapter. I've been enjoying Justin and Tori's relationship more and more in the show and I think it's when they truly shine. They work so well together. I feel for them though (even if it's me writing it!) I can't imagine going to visit my serial killer brother in the hospital for a bit of a chitchat! True. Glad I've got you all noodlescratching! Like your theories but you'll just have to wait and see. Also, can you tell how much I hate Mason?! None too subtle, am I? Haha! Thanks Bijou! glad you're still enjoying it x
  13. Thanks you two! Indeed, quite the mess for Constable Chapman to try to claw her way out of! Stitched up, good and proper! haha! And yeah, I've killed off a good bit of the cast but I'm just taking a leaf out of the show's book. At this rate, there won't be anyone left with the direction the show is heading! Thanks as always for the feedback x
  14. Great chapter Red Loved VJ and Billie in this. So pleased they've got everything sorted and I love the name for the baby. Kind of relieved that Leah and Zac aren't going ahead with the pregnancy (unless it is a false negative?) and that he didn't throw a strop over it. I thought he might have. I had an inkling that the baby was Heath's, because of her avoiding him and Bianca like the plague. Disappointed in Heath. That's quite a mess he's created for himself. Looking forward to the next chapter x
  15. Think we're equally to blame for that! (Zipping mouth now )
  16. I'm glad we got that sorted! lol!
  17. Not even Billie with a moustache? A nice big Ron Burgundy? She'd probably keep it well groomed? Moustache oil and everything....
  18. I like your thinking Pembie! So there is hope for us less attractive girls then, eh? The ones who don't look like Billie or Charlotte, or even Sam? The monobrowed and moustachioed gals of this world? Even Riggins can get herself a lil sumfin' sumfin'?! hahaha!
  19. This is very true! It's certainly something I'd do, especially to the characters I care about. I can be a little bit sadistic in my writing sometimes! Yeah, Brody competing in the paralympics might just blow his witness protection cover though (unless he took a leaf out of Justin's book and wore a hat and dark glasses for the duration of the games...I'm sure that would work.) Haha! Smelly feet and monobrows?! Gotcha! You certainly have diverse taste in women, Pembie! lol! Really glad you're enjoying this. I'm having a right giggle writing it but it's not much good if it doesn't make other people laugh too! Hope to have the final chapter up in the next day or two! x
  20. Aw, thanks Jarlie! Glad you're enjoying it! Kinda sad it has to end.
  21. Thanks Pembie Didn't get a chance to reply before I posted the new chapter. Glad you enjoyed chapter 9. Kat does always strike me as having a ridiculously high opinion of herself. Maybe it's that smug smile of hers? I can't imagine her having a great working relationship with her many of her colleagues because she gets away with murder, for no apparent reason! The girl's like Teflon! I think that would get up her 'less favoured' colleagues' noses! Haters gonna hate! Yeah, I do have a tendency to make my favourites suffer Poor boys! Still, as I said, Josh and Andy being murdered by Mason is probably better than what the show has in store for them now. I'm a little disappointed that the show didn't go down this route. I would much prefer to have seen them come out of that house in bodybags... Oh well. Thanks as always for the feedback. x
  22. Thanks Red! You called it! I was like, "dammit! gotta be a bit more imaginative, Lu! lol!" You'll have to wait and see what happened with Evie and Mason and what the fallout is. I do actually think McCarthy having the hots for Kat is the only real explanation for his willingness to turn a blind eye to all her transgressions. She's a truly terrible cop so her looks are really the only thing she has going for her! (apart from a shouty ex con mechanic fighting her corner, of course! Hang on! ...maybe it's really Ash he has the hots for?! ) Anyway, thanks for reading! x
  23. Thanks Bijou. I appreciate the continued support and I'm glad you're enjoying it. Only one more chapter to go though.
  24. Yep, Red was right! Totally called it! haha! So glad you liked this scene! I really hoped that it was funny. Phoebe hitting on poor pain-riddled and traumatised Brody is probably the most misjudged thing she could ever have done. Not great timing really! The only thing more complicated than Brody's current situation would be if Phoebe went to the bathroom and returned to be told that he'd died in her absence. Then he'd be 3 levels into Witness Protection! haha! Well, he's alive right now. There's a pulse... but will he survive? You'll have to wait and see!
  25. Ah Red, you old romantic, you! What a lovely chapter! All the feels... Absolutely loved VJ and Billie in this chapter and I think you captured the way they speak perfectly. I'm so happy that VJ reconsidered just in time, and was able to be there for the birth of the baby, and able to support her. Loved the little bit with Ash. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want my brother in the room either, so I really can't blame Billie on that score! Olivia and Mason's date was sweet (if a little odd for me, given what I've been writing all afternoon! ) It's nice that he can actually talk about being in witness protection and not have to hide this huge part of his life anymore. Really enjoyed this. Looking forward to the next one! x
