Thanks Kristen I was a little worried I might have taken things a bit far in this chapter but I'm glad you liked it. Things have just spiralled out of control, or as they put it in shows like Criminal Minds, 'he's escalating'! Thanks KittCatt and Jarlie I thought it was about time that Kat had some real consequences for her dodgy dealing and twisting of the rules to suit herself. Will she be able to wriggle out of it though? That is the question. Thanks Red Is it bad that I'd prefer they were murdered by a total psycho, than get caught and spend the next 30 years in separate prisons? I actually think this is a more appealing outcome. (And, probably better than a life on the run living in poo) He kinda did do them a favour. Awww, thanks Bijou! So glad you're enjoying it. It certainly developed, considering it was only meant to be a one-shot! Lol!

Oh Pembie! Just stumbled upon this because I saw someone else was reading it. Soooo funny! I loved the interaction between Dex and Brax the most! I could see him perfectly in that bar scene. Just brilliant! I absolutely loved Romeo leaving cloned versions of himself behind so he could go galavanting and starring in American TV shows! haha! And Sid is perfectly happy with that setup?! Dex mixing up the recycling made me laugh out loud, and her desire to watch DVD boxsets about environmental issues?! She always was insufferable! So good. Just loved it! What a giggle!

Ah okay... Obviously there's the Heath and Bianca link, but I was wondering if I'd somehow blanked some romantic interlude between them, because Kyle seemed so interested in how she was doing. Fair enough, so they did share some scenes then (I'd forgotten the stuff with Tamara too).

Loved this chapter, Red! First things first! Kyle is out! Kyle is out! Kyle is out! Yay! If only this would happen on the show! This made me so happy I can't even... I think, (in the context of your story), Ricky would be best to move on from Brax and try to build a new life. Obviously he's someone who's completely incapable of being a law-abiding citizen so he's likely to continue mixing in dodgy circles once he gets out, and if she has any sense she should try to avoid getting mixed up in that for Casey's sake. I like to think that she and Kyle will look after each other and help each other readjust to life, like their own little family unit. Did Kyle have anything to do with April in the past? I can't remember them having any interaction at all, but maybe I've just blanked it? I'm also thinking there's more to the fact that April doesn't want to tell Bianca (a lot more?), but we'll see... Mason and Olivia is interesting. Liked Chris being Chris, and pointing out Mason's none too subtle staring from across the room (and his 'Wheels' nickname!). Speaking of Chris, I just loved him in this, and you've just made me miss him even more. So sad that he's gone! Offering to be April's birthing partner is just so delightfully 'Chris'! To be fair though, I don't think you'd find anyone who'd do more research, throw themselves into it more, or who'd support you any better. He'd be the best birthing partner that anyone ever had, apart from the odd inappropriate joke, but I think I could live with that. I just love Chris. He had such a good heart. SB lost something very special when he left. Again, I'm worried that Zac has pressured Leah into something that she doesn't want to do. She doesn't sound all that enthusiastic about it Really looking forward to the next chapter x

I'm glad to hear that! I reckon your brother might be a bit relieved about that too! Yeah, I thought this was very true to her character in the show actually, not at all exaggerated, if we're being honest. Kat thinks that she can do whatever the hell she likes if it'll save her own arse, but she has no issue charging others and sending them to prison. The rules simply don't apply to her. She wanted to arrest Ash just for the powertrip it would give her, and spouted all sorts of rubbish about not being able to turn a blind eye, right up until she realised that he served a much more useful purpose (as a live sex toy). After that it was fine for both of them to start doing all sorts of illegal things just so they could keep having sex all over the show. Even if she was up to her uxters in mud, burying a dead body that she'd shot herself, she still wouldn't be able to see that what she was doing was wrong. In her mind, she'd still deserve to get away with it, and keep just droning on about what a good cop she is. Just love her so much...

I worry myself sometimes! Kat and Mason are actually pretty well suited because they both have such a high opinion of themselves and think everyone's in love with them, and they're both incredibly ruthless! And... Kat has needs! Now that Ash is gone she's gonna need to get her kicks somewhere! Justin's probably the closest substitute, haha! Thanks y'all! Glad you liked this scene! I thought it'd be pretty natural for Brody to have anxiety about losing even more of his limbs than he already has, and that dream is pretty creepy, but the idea of Buddy chewing on Brody's severed arm kinda struck me as funny. Not really sure why! (That dark sense of humour again). Thanks Kristen! That he does! But I'm not sure if Mason can be helped! He's just too twisted!

Great start! Loved the close and lovey-dovey relationship between Zac and Leah here (a sharp contrast from the show at the moment) and I really liked the little scene with the teens at the diner. Matt particularly! You wrote them all really well. Looking forward to seeing where you take this! x

Loved loved loved this ending! Poor Zac! Poor everybody! It would be so hard for all of them to move on from something like this. To have Leah taken from them in such a violent way, and for such a stupid reason! Even Peter doesn't seem too sure of why he did it. I loved Zac reminding him of Dan and making him think of what he would have wanted. He was very dignified, and I think, as you say, that rattled Peter more. Really enjoyed this story from start to finish, and looking forward to reading whatever you come up with next x

I do think she's unbelievably self-centred and ruthless in the show so I don't think this is entirely out of character (and who knows what she has in the drawers in her bedroom?! haha!) Thanks Red! I guess he doesn't! Hadn't really thought of that! This is probably the worst that's happened to Ash though, so I might have to lay off him in my next fanfic. The poor guy! As for Tori and Justin, nervous laughter is a terrible thing because once you get going it can be really hard to stop! I've found myself in that situation in the past. You know that you shouldn't be laughing but you can't help it! We'll see if they figure things out in the next chapter

Great chapter Red. Interesting move for Billie. Nice of her to make room for April, but she's really gonna cramp Dex and Lottie's style, haha. Sweet that Dex proposed but was it just a kneejerk reaction to April being back and knocked up? They do seem much more suited than Dex and April ever were though so I'm hopeful for them. Zac does seem to be pressuring Leah and really doesn't seem to get how traumatic a miscarriage would be for her. It ended her relationship with Miles after all, so he's taking quite a risk. He is a pretty selfcentred guy though so that's very much in character. Oh, and I absolutely loved Chris in this! Looking forward to the next chapter x

Haha! I'm glad you're still finding it funny. I'm always a little worried that I'm going a bit too dark. I think Mason works really well as this creepy little psycho. I'd enjoy watching him a lot more if the show gave him these sorts of storylines. I mean, he's already halfway there with his strange smiles and endless posing! You'll find out about Plan B in the next chapter!

Actually, forgot to say, Brody should really be thanking you for his McDonald's! Without you he'd probably still be sitting there starving! lol!

Great chapter Red Olivia and VJ was certainly interesting! I'm glad she was comfortable enough with VJ to go there. I can't imagine it would be that easy to figure out the first time, but if you were going to choose someone to be kind and gentle with you, then VJ would obviously be a very good choice (he comes highly recommended by Billie after all! ) He might not be the most tactful, but he makes up for it in 'other ways'. She really messed up when she chose Hunter over VJ, didn't she? I'm not sure Leah sounds that enthusiastic about the IVF idea, and it's understandable that she's nervous, but fingers crossed for them. Just hope Zac doesn't pressure her into something that she's not really up for. April's return looks like it's going to rock Dex and Lottie's world... Just when things were looking so bright for him . Really looking forward to the next chapter! x

Great chapter Red. Agree with you on both of those things. The show hasn't handled those aspects of Olivia's storyline very well at all. Olivia's Uncle James has just been shoved aside as though he didn't care about her at all. And Irene insisting that Olivia and Hunter are 'made for each other' seems pretty odd given Hunter's previous behaviour. I like how you've dealt with that here. Neither James or Irene have done a particularly good job in looking after her. Feel very sorry for Ash here. I can understand that Billie would find it difficult to tell him, but hearing about from other people, like a piece of juicy gossip, would be such a kick in the stomach. It's always been clear how much he loves Billie so finding out that she'd been hurt like that would be just awful! Mason obviously does have the hots for Olivia. Loved how he and Lottie just went about their little chat without paying the slightest bit of attention to Mr Stathakis Hopefully it kept his mind off his gallstones! Very funny. Poor VJ Interesting that Zac wants more kids. I don't think it's something Leah would risk again though. Their relationship would never survive a miscarriage. Adoption maybe? Looking forward to the next chapter x

Great chapter! I hope Tamara doesn't tell the others. He told her that in confidence and has specifically asked her not to tell anyone else. That would be quite a betrayal! Glad Ray didn't snatch them in the end, and they made it back to camp safe. Wonder what the prank is?
