Wow! That was a sort of 'lynch mob' with a difference. Nice of the whole Bay to take a stand on the Morgans' behalf and show them how good a thing it can be to have a community behind you. Loved Matt and Chris' lines at the end, and John's too. Ash is 'slightly' less dodgy than the Braxtons, lol! Great chapter Red, looking forward to the next one.

Oh I loved this chapter so much! It's interesting. The story is called 'Heath's Torture' but Kyle's death has had a huge impact on everyone that loved him, not just Heath. Very true for any family that has lost someone through violence. The thought of what Kyle suffered for all those years is clearly torturing Casey too and I can understand why he wants to know what happened. Everyone has different ways of dealing with things. I feel very sad for all of them. Glad that Heath is so excited about the baby though and the scene with Rocco was very touching. What did Bianca see?!

Great chapter! Love VJ and Billie in this. They're just so lovely together I especially love how excited VJ is about the baby which is why I'm quite worried about what will happen when/if he finds out. The poor fella It's terrible to allow him to get so invested only to pull the rug out from under his feet. He'll be absolutely heartbroken. I'm enjoying Evie and Matt's relationship too, even if it's all quite sad and downcast at the moment. It's nice that he's being so supportive. Hunter's little flicker of guilt was interesting too. I'm interested to see where you go with that. Poor Tori! Wonder what Spike's up to? Really looking forward to the next chapter x

Great chapter! Kat got off pretty lightly really but there's always that old thing of cops looking after their own. Josh was charged immediately for providing a false alibi, surely this would definitely be considered perverting the course of justice (aiding and abetting a murder suspect). Isn't Mccarthy doing the same thing, by listening to her sob story, and making his decision based on her personal circumstances? Anyway, it'll be interesting to see how things go for her and Ash at the Braxton house and if they can manage to make things work. I liked Evie and Matt's scene together. Loved his line about it being a pickle. So Matt I'll be interested to see what you do different with the Morgan storyline too. Really looking forward to the next chapter x

Great start! Very well written and I'm also very interested to see where you take this... That said, this is a very bleak chapter for the most part! You really don't like those boys, do you?! I think it's a bit of a stretch for Kat to blame herself for someone who wasn't Andy or Josh shooting the cop in the knee (not that I care if Kat blames herself or not). If we're living in a world where all the 'baddies' get what's coming to them (and excessively long sentences), then she should most definitely suffer some repercussions for the part that she played in all of this, preferably criminal charges too, where she has to serve prison time. I hope you're going after Hunter! I loved the scene at the start with VJ and Billie. They're very sweet together and I'm glad that Billie actually loves VJ and it's not just a desire to have a father for her baby, or to attach herself to the extended family that being with him will give her. That hasn't really been made clear in the show. Lovely description of what being in love means to her and how unfamiliar a feeling it is. Really enjoyed this. Looking forward to the next update x

Oh I'm so pleased that Heath was happy about it! I was worried that his inner turmoil over Kyle might sour things for him. Looking forward to the next chapter x

Haha! Brilliant! Loved this story from start to finish. Love that Casey hasn't got a clue who he is or who his parents are. To be fair, it would be difficult for him! Love Heath and April, and the fact that Bianca is completely oblivious to the two of them getting jiggy right under her nose. Also, Heath's view that Dex couldn't be with Indi because she's far too hot for him! lol! He has a point! Hunter has a fair point too. I mean he did just try to burn a house down with everyone inside, which is very different from something as terrible as accidentally blowing everyone up at a hospital fundraiser... So much less psycho! Loved Olivia's diary entry too! Haha! Good to know! As long as you tell the truth, it'll all work out in the end. Good thing Isla just put her hands up and admitted to everything, but then that's what baddies do in Home and Away. Also, I must start going to Star Trek conventions and taking photos of any older looking men just in case one of them happens to be a judge. Photos with that kind of leverage could come in handy! Thanks for this Red! Really fun!

Not at all as it turns out! Mind you, I did torture my favourite characters to death in thoroughly horrific ways so I don't really know what that says about me, lol! Loved this!

Such a beautiful chapter loved the scene with Rocco and Kyle. So incredibly sweet to think of them both looking down at what's happening and to think that they're getting to be together in the afterlife. It made me a little teary. So happy for Heath and Bianca. Such good news. Really looking forward to the next chapter x

Love this, Red! Just brilliant! Thanks again for brightening up my evening! I love that the "Extremely Dangerous T*sser” was too busy pondering what a big sacrifice he had made and how much of a pat on the back he should be getting for breaking Josh out of prison ("so he’d be free to never have a job, a home, a bank account or a television set again") to realise that he was about to be chopped to bits by a combine harvester! Haha! Not a fun way to go! Definitely, definitely not! At least Brax and Josh were going to scoop up whatever they could find and give him a proper send off! Poor Brax and his plans for a simple farm life of horse-breeding! Well and truly scuppered! Loved this: “Look, I’ve spent all my life getting away with things like this! I have made enemies of some very dangerous people and it’s not like anyone’s ever died!”He paused.“You know, except Charlie and Casey.” Please tell me there's still another chapter?

Liked Irene and Marilyn's little chat about Brody, and Jimmy standing up for Irene. Hunter needs to watch his manners a bit more!
-
Sorry to hear that Red To be honest, I was feeling pretty down in the dumps too yesterday but this did cheer me up quite a bit. So just wanted to say thanks again Proper laugh out loud funny! Well done!
-
Oh my god! Thank you so much Red! I haven't laughed so much in a while! This is absolutely brilliant! I see what you meant about a certain synchronicity at the start of our stories... Loved this: "Andy thought hard.“Murder.Manslaughter.Manslaughter.”He checked on his fingers before adding, “Manslaughter.” and this: "Andy is my half-brother’s half-brother’s half-brother.You can’t get more family than that". Also loved the bit about Evie and Tank, and how meant for each other she and Josh obviously were. Josh's resolution to only have 'intimate contact' with his brother and farm animals was quite touching My sides actually hurt from laughing so I'm definitely looking forward to the next installment. Love it!

Love love love this! Great chapter! Poor poor Heath! I gasped when he called him Kylie again. Heath just doesn't know what to do with his anger and he's just proving to himself that he's the monster that he thinks he is. Looking forward to the next chapter x

Thanks Pembie! glad you enjoyed it! I really wish that this year of the show could just have been an awful dream (like Red said) and we could have Oscar and Kyle (and the Barretts) back. Oh well... It was a pretty complex and scary dream alright, lol! Mind you, I had a terrible dream once that frightened the life out of me, and when I woke up I genuinely couldn't figure out if it had been real or not. Nightmares can feel very real. I didn't imagine being locked in a Thai prison for drug smuggling though, haha! Thanks for reading x
-
Wow! That certainly sounds interesting. two stories? (and you're going to be really nasty to my boys in both of them? Those poor Barretts! Lol) Good luck with that then! I look forward to reading them.
-
Haha! I think it ended up a lot better to be honest. I kind of changed direction when I realised that it was more interesting to push them to the brink (and over it) before bringing them back. (My mind always goes to dark places, I can't really help it!) I'd never been quite sure that a mojito-sipping ending was what I wanted but you did push me a bit towards this one, I'll admit that! lol! I am genuinely looking forward to your one I will probably really enjoy it, even if (when) you do give them a miserable ending in life. Those poor boys!
-
Thanks everybody! I really appreciate you all taking the time to read and comment. I'm glad you liked the ending. I was a bit nervous about it! I always said I'd never do an 'it was all a dream' ending but it really is the only way out if you want people to have a happy ending. As discussed previously, a life on the run would be no life at all. I didn't want that for my guys. We had to go back to where things really went wrong! If Josh had never uttered those fateful words 'I had to cover for you...' with Charlotte outside to hear it, then none of this awful chain of events would have happened. Josh getting his sight back like that was so totally ridiculous (I hate the writers for that) that it could easily have been part of some crazy dream. I liked the idea that he'd have this 'It's a Wonderful Life' kind of epiphany as a result and realise that life was still worth living. Being blind wasn't the worst thing in the world. There are a lot worse things! Letting go of his anger would be a really big step (and hopefully prevent something like the caravan park explosion from happening. If Josh is willing to forgive Tank then I think Andy would be more inclined to). I know there are a few holes in the story (more than a few) like what happened to Charlotte (I like to think that she just left, or is in prison) and where Brax is (in my mind, he's still on the run and Josh doesn't know that he's still alive) but the show doesn't worry about those things, so why should I? Lol! Again, thanks for reading everyone! (And Red, I'm especially glad you liked it! It's not the ending I originally intended but I couldn't help agreeing with you that some fairytale ending where they got to sip mojitos on a beach wasn't going to work. Life on the run would be a nightmare. Glad you're not out for my blood so! Haha!)

Aww, this is such a lovely chapter! Really enjoyed the conversation between Kyle and his mum (especially the mention of Danny - he did just use and abuse him really). Love her calling him a 'prince'. The whole thing is very touching Poor Heath continuing to beat himself up about the way that he treated Kyle! He can't go back and change things so he'll always have questions about the things that he did, and the way that he treated Kyle, but no way to get the answers that he needs. Everyone else is right though. He shouldn't be blaming himself like that.Poor guy. Really looking forward to the next chapter! x

Haha! okay, mission accomplished, just choked on my tea! I was not expecting that! Brilliant! Loved this ending. Matt wanting to confess just to turn Ricky on, Josh being excited by Kat and Ash's homemade porno, and how everyone came to an understanding eventually. Hopefully two men will be enough to satisfy Leah's rampant lust and desire (even if Zac is still more interested in Nate). Absolutely loved this too: Kat really is a useless cop! Lol! And the lovey dovey ending for Maddy and Oscar was incredibly sweet. You old romantic you! Thanks so much for sharing this Pembie. It's been so much fun to read!
-
Haha! Leah's fury knows no bounds when it comes to her Zacky wack, does it? She's strong for such a small woman (even if she is 'a moussaka loving witch!' Lol!) Loved Zac getting stuck into Nate, with sound effects and everything, and Nate not putting up any objection (he'd shag anything that moved really though wouldn't he?! Haha!) The shampoo would explain a lot! Love Josh's new-found interest in Oscar. That might explain why he'd lost interest in Evie so quickly and why he has such nice hair! Loved it!
-
Awww, Oscar and Maddy continue to be really cute together. Like this a lot Loved Oscar's line "I hope the sand that you find over the next few days will remind you of me until our next date..” A little gross, and pretty awkward, but kinda sweet and funny. 'When you find sand between your asscheeks, think of me'. How romantic! Haha! Haha! Love Zac perving over Nate 'the tit' while Leah watches on in fury from the other side of the room. She really has the wrong end of the stick there doesn't she?! Lol! Matt's on to a winner too... Even if his criminal past is a bit of a let down! Haha! He will just end up babysitting Casey all the time though because we all know that Ricky can't be bothered with him most of the time. Kat wants to talk to Josh... about his hair! To be fair, he does have very nice hair. Looking forward to the next chapter x
-
I'd love it if you did. More of this please. very cute.
-
Gnnnaaaawwwww! That was so cute! Loved it! Oscar's funny, and funny goes a long way. I'd go see Star Trek with him Loved the fact that Nate 'the tit' showed up shirtless. Of course he would! And Zac enjoying Nate's Baywatch type approach with 'growing interest' (see what I did there?! Lol!) Nate covered in baby oil? Not really something I want to see, but pretty funny. 'Oh Crap', poor Leah! Haha! She might actually lose a husband to homosexuality instead of just getting killed like they normally do... Love it! x
-
Haha! I did warn you! I actually think it could suit him. I have a very definite image in my head of what he'd look like. You'll just have to wait and see.The crazy vet has been a lot of fun to write, lol! For someone who's a huge fan of this little trio of fugitives, and loves their characters dearly, I'm pretty cruel to them, aren't I? Haha! Yeah, Brax does treat her pretty badly really. I'd actually forgotten about that! Really appreciate the continued support so thanks everyone!
