I take your point and I'm sorry if I've offended you or anyone else I didn't actually think Oscar was strange or particularly 'lacking masculinity'. There was just something that made me think he could be gay. Not sure why to be honest. That's not to say that one of the more stereotypically 'masculine' characters (as you put it) couldn't actually be gay. As in real life, anyone could be. Josh for example. I never saw the slightest inkling in the show that he was gay but just because I never saw anything doesn't mean that he couldn't have been. I do still think that it would have been a strong storyline for Jake Speer and he would have handled it with the sensitivity that it deserved. That's all. It was a thoroughly ridiculous story from start to finish and it was never meant as anything other than that As for Andy and Evie, there was a hint that it wasn't really the right thing. She looked at Josh in a wistful sort of way. He was the one she really wanted to marry but she took Andy instead. I probably should have explained that better. Anyway, thanks for reading.

Thanks KittCatt! I think Oscar had a lot to come to terms with! Waking up beside Josh like that would be a pretty big shock, even if he does at least know why it's happening now. He just doesn't know what's been going on in his own head and why he's been doing the things that he has. Remembering how crazy he's been behaving in vivid detail would be very frightening! Lol! And having a clingy Josh draped around him like that would be the worst possible way to come back to his senses! I think it's understandable that he wanted to get away! Pretty hurtful for Josh to be pushed away like that though! Glad you liked it!

To be honest I always thought Oscar would have been a sensible choice if they'd wanted to have a regular gay character in the show. There was always something about him, and the way that Jake Speer played him, that made me think that. I know that he had his relationship with Maddy, but it's not unusual for someone to be in denial, or to try to conform, or to be unsure about their sexuality. He could have come out further down the line. I think Jake would have done a great job with that kind of storyline! This is just a grossly exaggerated view of that, lol! Aw, I'm glad you liked it! it was rather sweet, if decidedly weird. Oscar being swept off his feet by his 'man of steel'! Haha! As I said, Josh as Superman just makes me chuckle. I've always loved him but Superman, he ain't! Lol! Zac's rant was kinda funny. He's at the end of his tether and he just doesn't understand what's going on. The whole situation is just ridiculous so you can't blame him for being annoyed. Haha! In my mind Evie never really hated Andy. She just needed someone to be angry with. They had grown quite close when Josh was in hospital, and there was definitely an attraction there. Now she's furious with Josh and very hurt, and in some ways being with Andy would also seem like the best way for her to get back at him. 'Take my brother? I'll take yours!' Or something like that. Annoying Zac would just be a bonus because she's angry in general, so taking it out on the people around her would be a natural reaction. You'll have to wait and see where it goes! She's gone from treating him like some kind of pervert who should be on a sex offenders register to demanding that he come and help her with Oscar! He does have a lot to deal with right now, but in this instance, he is in love with Oscar, so it's not like he can really refuse. Thanks Kristen and KittCatt! I think it's understandable that Zac would be upset on both counts. Zac doesn't know that Oscar has developed feelings for Josh so it just looks like Josh is taking advantage of him when he's in a very vulnerable state. And Andy is so much older than Evie! Also, as far as Zac's concerned, the two of them hooking up has just come out of nowhere! He doesn't know that they've been developing a relationship over the last few weeks. Glad you liked the X-Men and Superman hallucinations. I thought Josh as Superman was kinda funny because I really don't think he'd make a good one! Thanks KittCatt! It was a pretty close call for Josh alright, going back to the hotel with Marco wasn't the most sensible decision but it's understandable too. He feels like he needs to understand his own feelings (and he doesn't have Oscar anymore) so he's impulsively latched on to the first attractive guy to give him a bit of attention. He just wasn't able to go through with it. Poor confused Josh! Thought it would be funny if Oscar's hallucinations were comic book related. It would be pretty scary though if you thought your sister had been replaced with Mystique and that no-one could be trusted! No wonder he doesn't want to unlock that door! Wow, thank you! Wish the show would do something like this just to shake things up a bit. Fewer bus /plane/helicopter crashes, more psychopaths picking off the local residents lol! They wouldn't even have to show you anything. It could all be offsceen. Ash could just go missing one day... then Phoebe... then... (I'd love it if the serial killer turned out to be Alf, haha!)

I do love se7en. That I've seen (a long time ago). I think I've seen the odd clip from SAW and just written it off as completely revolting and gratuitous violence, and never even given it another thought. I have to say, I'm a little frightened to watch them though, because elements of Se7en have stayed with me over the years and I think I might be slightly scarred from them, lol! Someone made me watch The Human Centipede once (no-one should ever watch that under any circumstances. Not ever!) and that has sort of put me off 'those' sort of films entirely. But, you make a good argument so I might pull myself together and give them a chance. So glad you liked it and enjoyed Andy's dilemma. Interesting that it's like a 'saw trap' because it was just an idea that popped into my head. Andy has always been a very loyal brother and would pretty much do anything for Josh (even if he's always made an almighty mess of things, his intentions have usually been good) so I just thought it would be interesting to make him choose. Not wanting to let Josh die alone (obviously not aware that Josh was dead already). It's a pity it's not more original I guess, but I suppose everyone is influenced by something else... Ideas don't just come out of nowhere, even when you think they have.

It wouldn't really be a story about Batman though. It would be an 'Oscar is dreaming that he's the Joker (because he's ill, horny, and off his head on pain meds), and he and Batman 'get it awn' all over Gotham' kinda story. If that still floats your boat I might give it a go! Haha!

No, I've never seen SAW. Never really watched many horror films to be honest so it's strange that I was able to write this at all. Maybe that's more worrying?! Really enjoyed writing it though, especially writing Andy's 'cray cray' scenes haha! Oscar was particularly fun to write as a tormentor. I do think the show could have done something like this (albeit massively sanitised for daytime viewing). Such a pity! I actually felt a bit sick writing Josh's final scene because I've always loved him (and his very pretty face). Poor guy! Sorry for the nightmares! Haha!

In my mind the police would have had to notify the family when the videos were leaked and show them what was out there. Also, as part of the investigation into the criminal negligence of the hospital the videos would be evidence and they would have to be interviewed about them. Uncomfortable viewing for all involved! Poor Josh!

Oh wow! That was beautiful! Loved Oscar in this. You wrote him so perfectly. Absolutely spot on! And the whole thing was very very touching I particularly liked Oscar's response to her saying that she missed him. She did treat him very badly in the end and it would be natural for her to feel bad about it so it's understandable that the Oscar she's imagining might still be a little hurt. I'm sad Oscar didn't get to see Star Trek either. Thanks for sharing this Red x

Oh my goodness! What an action packed chapter! And so very very sad. Poor everybody! I was glad to see that Hunter has matured enough to see that going after Peter wouldn't be the right thing and he was actually able to restrain himself. Poor VJ just seems to be in shock more than anything. Feel terrible for everyone. Looking forward to the next chapter though. I want to see how everyone deals with Leah's loss.

Great chapter! I wonder who he shot?! It was such a nice image of VJ and Hunter playing with their little sister, even if it was overshadowed by the aftermath of the tear gas explosion, but for this to happen is just terrible! Poor Zac and Leah! Nice cliffhanger! x

He knows Oscar isn't physically female but he behaves in a very feminine way, a lot like Evie. So he's really not sure which one he's in love with. Dr Delaney has really created quite the mess!
