Thanks Suzza, I'm so glad you're enjoying it It was particularly cruel of the guards to lock him up like this, but I reckon in the aftermath of a riot (where one if them got killed) they'd be less inclined to be sympathetic in any way, and if he hit a guard they'd think he needed put in his place. Horrible though. I think he'll really struggle when be gets out. Hope to have a new chapter sometime over the weekend. We'll see. x

I'm glad you all liked that bit. Thought it was kinda needed. Finding out that Aaron was dead through a third party was probably a bit unsatisfying, so I wanted to show it through Kyle's eyes as well. I did think people might think that, but no, poor Aaron did die. I think it would have been a bit unrealistic to have him survive a stab wound with no medical attention for hours and hours... Very sad Well, he's certainly getting alone time! More than anyone would ever want! you'll have to wait and see how he copes when they let him out! Thanks again for reading everyone! x

Great idea for a story! I was really hoping that they were going to explore this with him. They dropped the story like a hot potato when they tried it with Oscar a few years ago and I've always felt that that was such a cop out. Hunter having an eating disorder would be understandable given what he's been through and how little control he feels he has over his life. I'm looking forward to seeing where you take this!

Glad you all enjoyed this scene. Nice to step outside the prison for a while! I figured even the most neglectful of families couldn't ignore a riot of this scale, and it's likely they'd all start beating themselves up if they thought something had actually happened to him. They should feel guilty! I was worried you might all hate me for this. Poor Aaron! I feel like George RR Martin, killing characters off left right and centre! Someone as nice as Aaron wasn't going to make it out of this alive, now was he?! I think it's fairly clear that this isn't a very well run prison, but solitary confinement seems to be not too uncommon a practice in maximum security prisons (and it really shouldn't be! ) Thanks for reading everyone! x

I wouldn't have a problem at all with Brody and Phoebe together if they shared more screen time. I think they hint every now and then that Brody kind of likes her but I don't think there's ever much suggestion that she likes him. At least not in that way. That's not to say they couldn't work together but I think they'd need to have been thrown together in stressful situations and pushed and pulled, the way she and Justin have been, to really know whether they care about each other in that way. I think it would be really interesting (since you like the idea of them together) if you wrote a sequel that's Brody and Phoebe focused and explore what you think their relationship would be like (and how Justin fits into that). Just a suggestion because you write those guys particularly well! Anyway. I have loved this story, so I'm really looking forward to the final chapter x

Great chapter. Glad Kat is going to help Matt and Jude. Justin was very dignified, wasn't he?! As much as I love Brody, I think she's made the wrong decision. She doesn't know what a relationship will be like with Brody. I think she's confusing close friendship for something more because she thinks she wants a quiet life. Things with Justin might have been messy but I think it was more passionate. Phoebe won't be able to deal with 'boring' Brody. She lives for drama after all. Looking forward to the next chapter x

Really enjoyed that chapter. Loved the chat between Casey and Phoebe. I can completely understand how they feel about this. It would be surprising and a little hurtful to realise that Kyle is still so guarded and that there's so much they don't know. At the same time though, it's understandable that he keeps stuff to himself. Foster care can't have been easy and he's had to put up walls to protect himself. Glad they both realise he isn't doing it to hurt them and that it'll take time to earn his trust. Very nicely written conversation.

Interesting chapter. I was worried at the start that Susan might have done something really bad to Matt and Jude and we'd be looking for a shallow grave or something Is Jude unconscious or just asleep?! He really should have taken her to the hospital if she's hurt. It's good that Rebecca was able to talk some sense into Jamie. I'm glad he's going to try to be more understanding but it's a pity he feels that way in the first place. She needs to ask him when he 'decided' to be straight. Looking forward to more. x

I'm glad that Phoebe didn't blab to everyone about Kyle's medical condition. That's not her secret to share, and if Kyle doesn't want people to know, then that's his business. I can understand why Casey is upset though. Kyle is his brother but he keeps finding out that there's all this stuff he doesn't know about him. That must be quite hurtful. Good that Kyle has calmed down enough to still go with Aden to get the stuff they need. After a shock like that it would do him good to get away for a little while. Looking forward to the next chapter x

Oh dear, things really escalated with Susan didn't they?! I'm quite surprised at Matt punching her in the face. I know she is appalling human being but he did instigate this fight and now it looks like Jude might be hurt. Feel more sympathetic towards Jude now we know some of her backstory. Interested to see what happens. I'm surprised Jamie didn't blow Dylan's cover story if he really doesn't approve.

Oh dear, Jude's mum seems like a nasty piece of work. I hope Matt and Jude are okay. This is the one time I think someone was right to get Kat involved. Evie has no other way of finding them. Poor Brian, stuck in Dylan's room all evening while Dylan gets to tuck into a delicious beef satay looking forward to more x

Awww, poor little Kyle.so sad that he got taken away from a loving family just because of one silly mistake. I can't imagine how guilty Patrick would feel. I imagine his parents would have blamed him too (understandable). Love the insight into Kyle's past. What a terrible thing to have happened to him! Looking forward to the next chapter x

Wow, okay so how unprofessional can Kat get?! Letting Hunter frame someone?! I suppose she's done some pretty shady stuff herself but it's not like she hasn't been a total hypocrite before. It's usually one rule for her, and another for everyone else. Why would she want to help Hunter? Jude seems like very bad news. Very worried about Matt now. Looking forward to the next one x

Interesting. Kat was being very evasive, wasn't she? Did she really tell Zac or is he just bluffing so Hunter will spill the beans? Wonder if Matt is going to do anything about Dylan and his boyfriend (does he think it's inappropriate?) Of course, he may have other more pressing things to worry about with Jude's sudden arrival! Oh dear, I was hoping that Zac would go to Olivia or maybe even VJ for help with Hunter. Going to Kat for help rarely ends well for anybody. And... Phoebe is a proper headwrecker, isn't she?! I think both boys need to find someone a little less self obsessed, lol!

Man, Phoebe likes to make things complicated, doesn't she?! So, has she just decided that she wants them both?! Well, why not, I guess?! I mean, Phoebe's just fabulous isn't she?! She might as well have two gorgeous men falling at her feet and fawning all over her They could work up a rota, I guess... y'know, so things don't get too weird... Hunter seems a bit haunted by his actions? Flashbacks and now a near panic attack with Zac questioning him. I'm interested to know what actually happened. Intriguing. Interesting story alright. It probably came as a bit of a shock to Josh to have someone actually be kind to him but Dimitri is as much in need of a friend as Josh is. Haha! Glad you liked that bit! I'm not sure a lollipop makes everything alright, but it certainly makes a change from his usual interactions! Not really what you expect two cons to be doing in the middle of a prison riot! Lol! I do like to leave things on a cliffhanger... makes a change to be saying 'poor Aaron' instead of 'poor Josh' though. You'll just have to wait and see... Thanks again to everyone for reading x
