Yeah, I don't think Brax would do well with taking orders, even if it is from the Feds. He always wants to be the one calling the shots. Awww! Thanks! I'm glad. They are actually pretty cute together, even if it is all a bit confused at the moment. Josh doesn't really know what he wants. On the one hand, he's pretty traumatised so his instinct is to push Kyle away, and on the other, he really needs someone to comfort him and make him feel protected. It's a constant push /pull. And then there's Kyle who just feels lost and alone without Aaron, and is latching onto Josh as a result. Thanks both of you for your comments I'll post the second chapter tomorrow!

Somehow I missed the last chapter! Loved how close Tess and Riley were in the previous chapter, and how they were getting past things and making plans for the future. They're very sweet together. Nice that Tessa's friend wasn't holding grudges. It would be understandable if she did. Now the most recent chapter... oh God, poor Tess! What a horrible thing to happen. The police seem thoroughly useless as always though. Glad they didn't pressure her to give a statement, even if the new policeman's immediate view is that she's lying (despite a witness! ) With him around, it's not looking too good for Tess. Looking forward to the next chapter x

Oh wow! Poor Kyle! I hope they can get him out and bring him round. Sounds like he's pretty badly hurt. Some funny moments as well. Evie and Josh were pretty amusing, and i liked April hitting Xavier too. Looking forward to finding out what happens.

I'm so glad that Hunter and Evie went to Leah in the end. That was the right decision. I'm sure it would be a shock for Leah to think that Zac was capable of that, but now maybe they can get him some help. I'm intrigued by the conflict between Charlie and Kat. You're developing this very well. Just giving enough information in each chapter to get the old cogs turning. Again, so proud of VJ. What a lovely boy! You're being very true to character here. Really looking forward to the next chapter x

Oh dear, how will the kids get out of this one?! Very selfless of Kyle to suggest they all just leave him, and pretty funny that the two of them just start snogging the faces off each other like that, in the middle of a crisis! And does this mean that Ray is dead?! Uh oh! Looking forward to the next one x

Great couple of chapters. As everyone else said, its lovely to get an insight into Kyle's past and childhood. Good that he had a positive experience in foster care. As for the second chapter, I wonder what Ray will do now that his family is in danger? Looking forward to the next chapter x

Again, just love this Billie and VJ in particular. Love the bond that they have and how kind and sensitive VJ is. Feel very sorry for Billie in all of this. Evie and Hunter are lovely together too. It's really nice to get to see Hunter's kind and caring side which they usually only show when he's with Olivia. Can't say I blame Hunter for hating Zac. He's torn the family apart and now he's hurting Evie! I know he's ill and he obviously needs help but the kids need to get out of there asap, before things get any worse! Seems like Phoebe has been fed a lot of half truths and kept pretty much in the dark about Justin's family. I don't blame her for shutting the door in Brody's face when he was behaving like that, but I can also understand him getting really worked up about it. It's a very hard situation! Really enjoying this x

Oooh fascinating chapters. I'm wondering what it is that Zac has done to upset Hunter and Evie so much. It definitely doesn't sound good! Poor Billie being pregnant too. She must be so scared. I loved that tender little scene between VJ and Billie, and the conversation between VJ and Leah in the previous chapter. VJ is such a lovely caring boy. I love how you're building the mystery around Brody and Justin and what happened with their family too. Very well written. Looking forward to the next chapter x

Glad Ray's plan seems to have worked and that Casey found Kyle. Wonder how long it'll take before the guys figure out that they've been tricked? Looking forward to the next chapter.

Thanks Bijou! It's funny. I've always loved Josh but I think I write him quite differently from how he was on the show. I think I've kind of latched on to the scared and vulnerable Josh that we only saw for a few brief weeks when he was blind. That blindness storyline (before they went and ruined it ) caught my attention for some reason, and is actually the whole reason that I started writing in the first place. It just sparked something in my imagination. He's been my muse for a lot of my stories as a result. I'm glad you like my version better! Yeah, things might not be looking so good for Smithy... but you'll have to wait and see... There's no denying that people in this prison are weird! Josh has an awful lot to contend with! ...If they're not crazy sexual predators, or just plain crazy and talking to themselves, then they're getting their knickers in a twist about the correct way to fold sheets He can't catch a break can he?! Thanks everyone for reading Things might become a bit more clear in the next few chapters... I'm not gonna say much more cos I don't want to ruin the story... Smithy isn't gay. There's a line in Shawshank Redemption that always stays in my mind: Morgan Freeman says the rapists going after Andy Dufresne "aren't gay. They'd have to be human first". I think Smithy and Alexei are just opportunistic predators. It's not about sex, its about power (and cruelty).

Yeah, I can see it now! Josh as a sort of Godfather type character, running the prison... maybe not, haha! This dream was kind of all of Josh's fears rolled into one (I'm so kind to him, aren't I?! ). Blindness and paralysis, like when he woke up in hospital, and being totally powerless while being raped. Pretty terrifying. It made sense that he'd look to Andy for help (even if it was only in his subconscious) because he's the only thing he has left. Now he has Kyle though. Every cloud...

I think Josh is probably good for Kyle too. It gives him something to focus on, other than Aaron. Indeed. But would they have bothered bringing charges against him if they didn't need his help? Maybe this is just blatant blackmail? In any case, it looks like he doesn't really have a choice! Thanks for reading guys! x

Seems like Tessa and Riley are back on track and things are going better for them (even if her brothers are both serious passion killers, lol!) Glad she's getting counselling. Presumably there's trouble ahead though now that Ben is getting out. It would be hard for Tessa and the rest of her family not to worry about that. Looking forward to finding out what happens x

Great chapter! You captured the sense of panic really well. So Hunter's the only one not accounted for. I wonder what's happened him? Zac's obviously in a bad way and it's worrying that VJ is still pretty out of it. Think Evie was very 'Evie like' here too. Really interested to see what happens! x

Ooh, thanks for reminding me of that movie! I might just have to hunt that out and watch it again. Absolutely superb! That scene with Hunter was an awful lot of fun to write! I quite like Hunter these days but I do think I enjoyed him much more when he was being a proper psycho. I would love for us to find out that he's a serial killer! It wouldn't be that big a stretch. Nice to have Olivia be a badass too, and kick him (literally ) to the kerb! Lol! So glad you enjoyed it!
