Thanks Suzza! So glad you enjoyed the chapters! Kyle and Josh are obviously suffering in very different ways and neither of them are that good at talking about things. It should have been a relief for both of them to find that they're now sharing a cell with a friendly face, but Smithy has put such a negative spin on things, that they're both unable to see that. Stop beating yourself up! That was a very solid return to the story, and I really enjoyed it! I thought it was very well written. I particularly liked how you described the intimacy between Zac and Leah. It's not mad passionate sex like a couple of young ones, just more something they do when they have the energy and the time (like a lot of married couples, I imagine). 'You up for it?' and Zac turning the light off were particularly nice touches. You also set the scene for the cyclone and where everyone is really well. Definitely looking forward to the next chapter x

Again... wow! Such a great story unfolding. I loved the scene with Billie and Kat. So much hurt and anger in the young girl's chat with her, and clearly something she's holding back . Such a different twist on the Morgan story too. Really intriguing. Sad to see Justin so cut off from them and Brody so hurt, but I can see that you're building an interesting mystery here. Can't wait to find out more. And, I absolutely loved the letter writing between Heath and April Very sweet. Really looking forward to the next chapter x

Glad you all liked this scene. I think Ricky would be the most likely person to get through to him. The only other person might be Phoebe, but given their history, it would probably just be very awkward. She'd probably just make it all about herself and spend the whole time asking if she'd somehow made him gay or if he'd been lying to her the whole time. Yeah, he's been holding on to a lot of resentment so it had to come out sooner or later. It's pretty understandable that he's angry though... He does have a point doesn't he? I was trying to think if I've ever written a benevolent ghost before... and no, I think this is the first! Normally they're there to torture the character, not give them comfort. As Red says, he's using him as a crutch. You'd be forgiven for being worried. Josh has gotten himself into some right messes in the past and the police have never been the brightest in h&a (The Morgan storyline being a good example). Still, you'll just have to wait and see Haha! This is very true And he's not even in the Northern District Hospital with its magic healing waters and super doctors like Nate and Tori. Maybe it's because he has Sid?! Maybe he brought some of that magic with him to the city? Who knows?! I have put him through an awful lot, haven't I? Thanks Red! I'm really pleased you thought so. I don't think Brax and Heath would be the most 'modern' men in their outlook but I was trying to find a balance here. They do care about Kyle so I don't think they'd disown him or start slinging homophobic insults about, but I'm not sure they'd find it that easy to accept either. Glad it seemed believable enough so. To be fair, I don't think anyone could be as useless or inept as the cops in Summer Bay! Fingers crossed for Josh, eh?! Thanks both of you for reading! x

I don't think Brax and Heath would mean any harm but I don't think they'd have the faintest clue how to react either. Heath is laughing, but it's a nervous reaction, not a genuine case of mockery. He just doesn't know how to deal with it. A bit childish but not deliberately cruel. Still, not exactly the level of support that Kyle needs right now. Thanks for reading! x

Yay for Ray! Glad he's trying to help Kyle! Pretty brave considering the threats that Derek has made against Ray's family. Just hope the teens believe him. Quite a sweet little scene between Josh and Kyle too.

Glad Kyle managed the game okay and everyone had fun. I can't quite imagine Josh running down the street naked, lol! Poor Kyle, getting tricked into doing drugs. That would have been quite scary. Looking forward to the next chapter x

My my, Jessica seems to be just as bad at her job as Kat Chapman. They witnessed Ben attacking Tessa only a few weeks ago and yet she's willing to take his word over his victim. Surely having Roger as a witness this time should be enough?

Great chapter! Josh's father is an absolute nutcase! And the apple obviously didn't fall far from the tree! Glad the cops got to see the father's true colours. Hopefully that'll be enough for them to drop their investigation against Riley and he can get back to work. And... My goodness! Poor Tess! I'm glad she has Riley by her side to look after her though.
