Nick pushes Jim too far. Kirsty refuses to help herself, until it’s too late. Sally breaks some devastating news to Flynn.

Extended Summary

Jade examines Kirsty’s infected stomach. She tells Kirsty she needs to let someone see it. Irene and Don talk about Jim’s behaviour.

Gypsy and Flynn are in to see Sally. Gypsy’s baby starts kicking and Gypsy goes on about it. Sally is upset about Gypsy talking about the baby, so Flynn and Gypsy leaves.

Irene has a go at Nick towards for his behaviour towards Jim.

Vinnie tells Alf and Leah his new-cook finding plan. Alf and Leah agree to go along with it. Gypsy and Flynn talk about Sally’s behaviour.

Jade is continuing to fuss over Kirsty. Jim apologises to Irene about his behaviour yesterday. Irene says that it is all right, and she just hopes that Nick will behave better today.

Leah pesters one of the trial cook. Vinnie has to take Leah out of the kitchen and asks how she would feel.

Jim continues to stumble through his lesson, getting words muddled up and setting the pupils the same assignment twice. Nick makes fun of him and Jade tries to stop him. Jim then shouts at Jade for speaking in class. Nick laughs at Jade for getting told off.

Flynn comes to pick Sally up from the hospital. Sally says that she wants to be seeing Flynn for a while. Flynn tells Sally that she is doing the wrong thing, but Sally continues to push him away.

Jim has got Kirsty to read something in class. Nick then pushes a struggling Jim too far and he asks everyone to leaqve the class. Kirsty and Jade have a go at Nick. Irene and Don see the class stood outside. Don goes in and tries to talk to Jim.

Colleen serves Alex, Vinnie and Alf another serving of moussaka. Alf says that he thought the last one was OK. Leah tells him that he is wrong, it was horrible. Alex says they should employ the first one, who was good looking, because even if she couldn’t cook, the customers have a reason to come in.

Don tells Brodie and Irene that he thinks Jim has a mental breakdown. Irene and Brodie head off to Jim’s caravan to see if they can find his next of kin.

Alf and Vinnie say they that have agreed on the second last cook. Leah tells Vinnie that he should go back to saving lives. A chef called Paul walks in.

Brodie and Irene find a box with Jim’s papers inside. They find out that Jim ran over his son fifteen years ago. They’ve taken to Jim to the city for intensive care. Irene hopes Nick isn’t against. Don is angry at himself for trying to drag Jim out of his own comfortable world.

Alf, Alex and Vinnie agree that Paul’s moussaka is the best. Leah agrees and Paul is given the job.

Nick asks Irene about Jim. Irene tells Hayley and Nick about Jim’s nervous breakdowns. Irene has a word to Nick, telling him that Jim wasn’t going to replace Ken, but he has got to let Irene be friends with other men.

Kirsty and Seb are training on the beach. Kirsty is exhausted and then collapses.
