Kane is beaten up after Jude threatens him. Skye continues to lead Alex on. Nick’s theft is discovered. Shelley suspects Jade’s problem.
Extended Summary
Hayley and Will has discovered that Nick ‘borrowed’ some money from Irene for something. Will was to go and pay the bills, but Nick offered to do it instead. Hayley and Will were trying to work out how to replace the money before Irene found out, but she called after a discrepancy was found in the cheque account. Nick told Hayley he paid the bill, but Hayley and Will realised Nick took the money. Jude lent Nick the money. Now Duncan and Nick have to do heaps of cleaning to make up for it. Thank goodness for Jude!
Jude met Kane while he and Shauna were having dinner. Shauna had told him what was going on, especially after the flowers and concert tickets. She’s been getting phone calls at night and someone’s been prowling around. Jude’s warned Kane to keep away from Shauna ‘or else’. Kane was later admitted to hospital in a critical condition. Surely Jude wouldn’t have bashed him? If he didn’t who did?
Alex is hooked on Skye and can’t see through her lies. He’s keen to introduce her to Brodie. Luckily she wasn’t there, so Dani showed her around and introduced her to Will and Hayley. Hayley’s having an eighteenth birthday party and Will invited Skye along. Anyway, Dani and Skye went to the surf club to deliver a message to Noah and guess who started flirting with him? Yep, Skye. Trouble is brewing in the Bay…
Shelley’s realised that something’s seriously wrong with Jade after overhearing her tell Melissa she’s lost weight. On top of that, Jade dumped Duncan because Melissa told her she can’t have a boyfriend if she’s serious about ballet. Then Shelley found an empty box of fund-raising chocolates. She asked Jade about it, who was excessively defensive. Hopefully Shelley can help her before it’s too late.
