Devera was seen with her son Paulo outside the church before the funeral of her daughter Kat Chapman. Initially composed and consoling her son with Alf, Devera broke down when the coffin of her daughter was brought into the church. She wept uncontrollably into Paulo’s arms after Ash brought in her grandson’s coffin. Devera composed herself and was thankful to Alf for delivering a heartfelt speech.
