8 Emmerdale Spoilers for Next Week – 6th to 10th July
Next week on Emmerdale, Kyle’s latest fire leaves Monty in danger and leads to a shock diagnosis, Kev makes a big gesture to win Lewis round, and Caleb makes a troubling discovery.
Note: Final schedules have not yet been announced for the week due to football coverage.
1) A life is on the line as Kyle strikes again
There’s another frightening turn for the Dingles at Wishing Well next week, as Kyle (Huey Quinn) puts a much-loved family member in serious danger.
The heartache of everything that’s happened in the family over the past 18 months has seen Kyle lash out by starting fires at Emmerdale Farm.

ITV
Graham (Andrew Scarborough) discovered Kyle was responsible after finding him burning his own car. Rather than telling Cain and Moira (Natalie J Robb), Graham tried to help Kyle himself and later signed him up for the cadets.

ITV

ITV
Cain (Jeff Hordley) only learned the truth last week, leaving him furious that Graham had known Kyle was responsible while he and Moira were kept in the dark—and that Kyle had been confiding in Graham rather than him.
Turning the tables back on Graham, Cain finally told his son the truth about mum Amy’s (Natalie Ann Jamison) death, and how Graham had been protecting the very man held responsible for the tragedy.
Cain explained that Joe (Ned Porteous) had drugged Noah (Jack Downham), and who’d then staggered out into the road in front of the limo, causing it to crash into the lake.

ITV
Cain admitted that he’d wanted to protect Kyle from having his memories of Amy tainted by anger, but the revelation only gave Kyle more questions.
Storming up to Home Farm, he confronted Joe and Kim (Claire King) over what had happened to Amy.
As Joe and Kim tried to calm him down, the situation took a terrifying turn when Kyle grabbed a nearby shotgun that they’d been planning to use for clay pigeon shooting—seemingly having not learned his lesson, after accidentally shooting dead Al Chapman (Michael Wildman) in 2022!

ITV
As Graham arrived at the house, he managed to talk Kyle down and persuade him to hand over the gun, which wasn’t loaded anyway. Kyle ran off in tears and later returned home to Moira.

ITV
Cain then stormed up to Home Farm, where Graham, Kim and Joe told him what had happened. Cain warned them to stay away from Kyle, but the damage had already been done.

ITV
Next week, tensions are still running high at home when Cain loses his temper with Kyle and storms out. Moira calls him out for taking his anger out on their son, but Cain is distracted when he spots something outside.
Rushing out, Cain finds a shed on fire after Kyle has started another blaze, but the situation takes a terrifying turn when he realises the family dog, Monty, is trapped inside!
Cain desperately kicks down the door and heads into the burning shed, before eventually staggering back out with Monty in his arms.

ITV

ITV
As Cain races Monty to the vets, Kyle is left riddled with guilt over how badly things have gone wrong.
Paddy (Dominic Brunt) examines Monty, but his warning leaves Cain fearing the worst. He tells Cain to prepare the family for bad news, and Cain’s panic soon turns back into anger as he lashes out at Kyle again.

ITV
Monty’s ordeal leaves the family fearing the worst.
2) The Dingles face another devastating diagnosis
The next day, the family are dealt another upsetting blow when Paddy arrives with news on Monty, and it’s certainly not the news they’d been expecting.
Paddy reveals that Monty has cancer, leaving the family with a painful decision to make.

ITV
Cain later collects Monty from Paddy and takes him out for a walk, needing time alone with him as he weighs up what should happen next.

ITV
The moment also forces Cain to look at his own situation. He knows how badly he wants to help Monty, yet he’s still been resisting the radiotherapy that could help him following his own cancer diagnosis.

ITV
As Cain spends time with Monty, the comparison isn’t lost on him. But whether it’s enough to change how Cain feels about his own treatment remains to be seen.
3) Kev makes a grand gesture
Elsewhere, Kev (Chris Coghill) tries to make a fresh start with Lewis (Bradley Riches) after the reveal that he’s his biological dad.
Lewis was recently dragged into Kev’s chaotic past when he was kidnapped by Kylie (Pippa Fulton), who then contacted Ross (Michael Parr) with a demand for Kev to return Penny—a diamond made from the ashes of a cat she once shared with him.
With Kev having been absent from the village for months, Lewis was blindsided when he suddenly turned up at Dale View after the ordeal and revealed that he was his father.

ITV

ITV
Lewis made it clear that he didn’t want Kev in his life, later dismissing him as nothing but a sperm donor and heading away to stay with his adoptive dad in Cleethorpes for a few days.
Kev knows he’s got a lot of work to do if Lewis is ever going to accept him, but Charles (Kevin Mathurin) has encouraged him not to give up on the idea of being a dad.

ITV
Keen to make a statement next week, Kev changes his name to Barton as he tries to distance himself from his past and build a new connection with Lewis.

ITV
When the move doesn’t have the impact he’d hoped for, Kev opens up about his troubled past over a cuppa. He explains why he’s so determined not to go back to prison and says the name change is also about protecting Lewis from everything attached to the Townsend name.
Ross remains deeply wary of the situation and orders Kev to leave when he returns home to find him with Lewis.
This time, Lewis refuses to shut the door completely and tells Ross that he wants to give Kev a chance.

ITV
Ross makes it clear to Kev that he’ll be watching closely, warning him not to hurt Lewis.
For a short while, it looks like Kev may be making some progress, as he shares a pint with Lewis and Vinny (Bradley Johnson).
Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) is much less pleased to see Kev settling in, having already vowed to get him out of the village, and another run-in makes it clear there’s no love lost between them.

ITV
Ross is also convinced that Kev won’t be able to stay out of trouble for long. Speaking to Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker), he predicts that Kev will make a mistake sooner or later and get himself driven out of the village…
4) Is Kev being framed?
Ross’s warning soon starts to look ominous when the café is targeted.
A mystery intruder breaks in and steals the cash box, leaving Lewis and Nicola horrified when they later find the place ransacked.

ITV
After Kev’s recent clashes with Nicola, and with Ross already convinced that he’s bound to slip up, suspicion quickly falls in his direction.

ITV
Lewis is determined to get to the truth, but Kev is furious when he realises he’s being accused and insists he had nothing to do with the break-in.
Kev tries to plead his case, but Lewis refuses to hear him out.

ITV
With the break-in coming just as Kev was making progress with Lewis, is someone trying to make sure his fresh start is over before it’s really begun?
5) Caleb’s secret operation takes a dark turn
Over at the depot, Caleb (William Ash) faces fresh questions over his knock-off goods operation, as a disturbing discovery raises fears about where the stock is really coming from.
The illegal sideline began after Caleb was left humiliated by Archie (Kai Assi) and Kerry’s (Laura Norton) AI scam. Keen to regain his edge, Caleb decided to secretly use the depot for a new counterfeit goods scheme and brought Billy (Jay Kontzle) in by offering him a cut of the profits.

ITV
Kerry later forced her way in too, using what she knew about Caleb’s operation to make sure she got a share of the benefits.
Next week, as the pair talk about the counterfeit shoes, Caleb warns Kerry to keep her voice down as Bear (Joshua Richards) watches on from the break area.

ITV
The situation takes a troubling turn when Caleb and Kerry check the stock and find a label sewn into one of the shoes with the words “Help Me” written on it.

ITV
The discovery brings back concerns that Billy had already raised when Caleb first saw samples from the supplier. Billy worried about the possibility of forced labour being involved, but Caleb insisted the business was legitimate.
Kerry urges Caleb to go to the police, but Caleb is reluctant to rush into anything.

ITV
Kerry later finds Bear in Caleb’s office examining the shoe, and she’s startled by his furious reaction when he realises Caleb still hasn’t contacted the authorities.
After everything Bear went through at the hands of Ray (Joe Absolom) and Celia (Jaye Griffiths) on the farm, the idea that there’s forced labour tied to goods coming through the depot hits a raw nerve.

ITV
Caleb lets Bear have his say, but the discovery doesn’t stay between them long. Billy also gets wind of what’s happened and urges Caleb to report it, especially given his earlier concerns.
Caleb still tries to buy himself more time, leaving Billy unconvinced that he’s taking the issue seriously enough.

ITV
Later, in The Woolpack, Caleb tells Kerry that he’s contacted the police about the label.
But a passing comment from Kammy (Shebz Miah) about the price difference between branded and non-branded car parts then gives Caleb another idea.

ITV
Kerry isn’t sure what to make of it, but Caleb’s focus already seems to be shifting to a new money-making scheme.
6) Kev warns Mack over Ross
Elsewhere in the village, Mackenzie (Lawrence Robb) remains under huge strain after Charity’s (Emma Atkins) confession about Ross, baby Leyla and Dr Todd (Caroline Harker).
Mack has backed Charity over Todd’s assault and encouraged her to fight for justice, but he’s also devastated by her betrayal with Ross and the lie over Leyla’s true paternity.

ITV
The pressure became too much at Leyla’s christening, where Mack struggled to keep up appearances and walked out. Kev later found him in a bad way and urged him to think carefully about taking revenge on the person who’d hurt his family.
Mack’s anger then took him to Sheffield, where he confronted Todd over Charity’s assault. Todd tried to twist the situation back on Charity, using her past against her, but Mack saw through the manipulation.

ITV
The situation escalated when Mack threatened to bury Todd if she ever went near Charity again.

ITV
The episode then cut straight to a flash-forward of Todd lying dead on the floor with blood around her head, leaving viewers wondering whether Mack would follow through on his threat.

ITV
Ross’s betrayal is also especially difficult for Mack to stomach, as the pair had become close friends before Charity’s confession blew everything apart. Ross knows the truth about Leyla’s paternity, but he doesn’t know Mack does too.
That leaves Mack forced to keep his anger under wraps whenever Ross is nearby, all whilst Ross has no idea how much Mack is quietly seething.

ITV
Next week, Kev notices how furious Mack still is and urges him not to do anything stupid—but with Mack barely able to hide his feelings around Ross, that warning may be easier said than followed.

ITV
7) Gabby misreads the moment… again!
Gabby (Rosie Bentham) faces yet another romantic setback next week, as a vulnerable moment with Billy goes badly wrong.
She was recently left embarrassed after misreading the signals with Ross, who gently rejected her advances while hiding his secret fling with Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy).
Next week, Gabby is upset when Billy finds her and offers some comfort.

ITV
The moment briefly appears to take on a different meaning for Gabby, and she tries her luck by going in for a kiss.

ITV
But Billy pulls back, leaving Gabby mortified as she rushes off.
After a string of romantic disappointments in recent years, it’s another painful blow for Gabby, who once again finds herself wishing the ground would swallow her up!
8) Serena raises Moira’s suspicions
Also next week, Serena (Casey Al-Shaqsy) continues to raise questions, as her curiosity about the dark side of the Sugden family starts to unsettle Moira.

ITV
Serena has quickly settled in with distant cousin Robert (Ryan Hawley) and Aaron (Danny Miller) after arriving in Emmerdale, but Aaron has struggled to lower his guard after everything that happened with John (Oliver Farnworth)—another Sugden who suddenly appeared in the village.
Her interest in John has already caused tension with Sarah (Katie Hill), who was taken aback when Serena mentioned Robert’s murderous brother so casually.

ITV
Serena explained that she only knew John vaguely through family connections, adding that her mum had stayed in touch with his mother Barbara and was very fond of him—a curious point considering Robert and Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) never knew he existed.
Serena later questioned Claudette (Flo Wilson) about John after hearing they’d worked together at the surgery, prompting Claudette to suggest she was showing a morbid curiosity in him.

ITV

ITV
Kev has also been left wondering where he knows Serena from, later suggesting that she might have worked in the prison system. Serena denied it, but the exchange added to the sense that she may be hiding more than she’s letting on.

ITV
Next week, Serena’s curiosity moves onto another painful subject when she starts fishing for information about Nate’s (Jurell Carter) murder.

ITV
She’s picked the wrong person to question though, as Moira is quick to make her distrust known.

ITV
What is Serena up to?
